Its meaning should be understood. Alternatively, regarding the Dharma-knowledge and subsequent knowledge of suffering, these two, through the excellence of perfection, make one equal to the non-common Buddha, and are called unequal and equal, which is what is to be explained. Because of completely transcending equality and inequality, it is the abode and protector of all sentient beings. It is because the Tathagata is close to the great deeds of the Perfection of Wisdom. For Hearers and others, there is also the nature of the forbearance of Dharma-knowledge, isn't it the same? And why does the Tathagata appear as the object of such inconceivable Dharmas? Starting from "Subhuti, form is also inconceivable," up to the All-Knowing, because all things are without self-nature, therefore it is inconceivability, and because of understanding non-objectification, it is reasonable to speak of inconceivability and so on for the Tathagata. Furthermore, the example of space shows the inconceivable and other Dharmas, because the Tathagata's clear wisdom is uncommon. Showing the uncontaminated Dharma, saying that the illusion-like perfection has no fruit, means that liberation of mind and so on from many without remainder of the uncontaminated is real. When showing these, it is shown that the fruit is obtained. With the characteristic of gathering all the noble beings, the origin of suffering is gathered by the forbearance of Dharma-knowledge, that is, like the example of a minister, all the Dharmas of Hearers, Solitary Buddhas, Bodhisattvas, and Buddhas, are truly in accordance with the Perfection of Wisdom, and abide closely with great deeds and so on. Why is that? Because the sutra says, "Not clinging to form, there is no manifest clinging," so it is shown in this way. Therefore, understanding is the uncommon reason. With the characteristics of a person, the characteristics that should be understood with wisdom, the origin of suffering is gathered by Dharma-knowledge, that is, it shows that it should be understood with subtlety, goodness, clarity, and compliance with the mind. Among them, subtlety is because it enters the meaning of Suchness, so it is subtle. Entering the meaning of without remainder

Therefore, they are wise, for the sake of realizing the nature of suchness and all that there is. These are also of two kinds. Those called "wise" are those who have previously fully trained their minds, and those who are obtained by individual beings through birth. Being able to apply to both of those meanings is to be fully endowed with wisdom. Those with clear minds are those who, having seen that truth, have the wisdom to apply to both of those meanings, and therefore have clear minds. The uncommon characteristic, encompassed by the forbearance of knowing after following arising, is that the wisdom of those who have followed as many beings as there are in a great trichiliocosm, from the past up to the self-enlightened ones, and abandoning this, devotion to this and so on, becomes supreme, as has been taught. The characteristic of quickly knowing, encompassed by knowing after following arising, is that this is extensively explained as an excellent Dharma. Those who diligently strive for this, in relation to the Hearers' Vehicle, will quickly pass into nirvana, as has been taught. The characteristic of neither few nor many, encompassed by the forbearance of knowing the Dharma of cessation, is that even if all beings have completely passed into nirvana in unsurpassed, perfect, complete enlightenment, there is neither increase nor decrease in this, because of the greatness of the perfections. The characteristic of intense practice, encompassed by knowing the Dharma of cessation, is that, like the example of a cow not abandoning its calf, having hearing and faith, etc., is the cause of previous hearing, etc., as has been taught. The characteristic of proper application, encompassed by the forbearance of knowing after following the path of cessation, is that, relying on many Buddhas, having died and transmigrated from Tushita and been born here, being born in the previous life without having asked questions, and having doubt about this, likewise not having heard of inner emptiness, not having asked questions, etc., those are those who fall into two grounds and desire, that is, the habitual tendencies of the previous cause are interrupted and practiced, as has been taught. The characteristic of the object, encompassed by knowing after following the path of cessation, is that, like the example of a ship breaking in the ocean, interruptions and non-interruptions are various
