Reversing from destroying seedlings and fruits, therefore conforming to this, retreating from association, actually indicates the meaning. Retreating from the unsurpassed state, like the example of the wheel-turning king, and the example of creating small border countries, actually indicates retreating from the fruition of the Dharmakaya, which is the work of demons. The courage to generate discriminating thoughts towards many kinds of realms is to indicate that those dharmas do not exist and are not visible in this profound Prajnaparamita. Because many realms of dharmas and so on appear, therefore conspicuously clinging to writing letters, conspicuously clinging to non-things, conspicuously clinging to the written Prajnaparamita letters, conspicuously clinging to the absence of letters in this, attending to realms and so on, obtaining, respecting, tasting the flavor of verses, and being called skillful means by non-paths, and so on. Seven obstacles are, because the nature of all dharmas does not exist, because of non-things, therefore one cannot inquire about non-things, therefore conspicuously clinging to non-things, clinging to the written letters as being that, clinging to the written letters as being that, obtaining, respecting, tasting the flavor of verses, and acting as the author of Prajnaparamita. Seeking skillful means from the sutras possessed by demons is to indicate the work of demons. The retreat of intention and laziness is, whether it is the speaker, the listener, and the conspicuous association with each other, it indicates the retreat of intention and laziness between each other. Retreating because the realms of intention are different is, whether those who have intention with each other, it indicates wanting to go to other realms. Retreating because of obtaining, respecting, and small desire clinging is, whether those who value obtaining and so on with each other, and the way of small desire for listening to the Dharma and so on is shown. Similarly, those who have the qualities of practice and those who do not have the qualities of practice, and the nature of good and non-good dharmas, and being stingy towards giving, and always towards giving

Holding, understanding through initial narration, understanding through detailed explanation, mastering the Dharma such as the Sutras, as well as not mastering, possessing the six perfections, as well as not possessing, being skilled in means and non-means, obtaining Dharani, as well as not obtaining, wanting to write letters, as well as not wanting to write, being separated from and not separated from desires such as wanting, these in order, are the speaker and the listener, the connection of the former and the latter, and not possessing assembly, these eleven are the eleven obstacles that are spoken of. Furthermore, starting from possessing and not possessing the qualities of practicing these, and even those themselves, because of being separated from desires such as wanting each other, and not possessing assembly, therefore it should be known as the work of Mara, up to here is what is spoken of. Returning from the evil realms, is saying that anyone else comes here, speaking of unpraiseworthy places such as hell, etc., this is what is spoken of. Being happy to go to the happy realms, is saying that similarly, praising the Four Great Kings, etc., this is what is spoken of. This is first determining the listener, and then determining the assembly that the speaker must possess and not possess. Now, we will speak of the assembly that is determined by the speaker first, and then the listener, which possesses and does not possess, which is seven types. Why? Because here, speaking and listening, as well as the listener and the speaker, establishing the former and the latter, will lead to entering various obstacles. It should be known that both the listener and the speaker rely on the former and the latter. Among them, the assemblies that are clearly related to the speaker and the listeners, which possess and do not possess, are like this: anyone like this alone, and liking retinue, and the desire itself is compliant, and not distinguishing opportunities, and wanting a little wealth, and not wanting to give these away, and going to places that will become obstacles to life, and going to places that will not become obstacles and not going, similarly, going to places such as good years and famines and not going, and thieves

Going in the direction of disturbing causes, and not going, and abandoning the listener by looking at the household is easy, the Dharma speaker is only one, unparalleled and self-possessed. Listening to the Dharma starts from within the retinue, and the Dharma-speaking monk must go to the city where alms are given, etc., from which the listeners turn back, and it is explained between the turning back, etc. The divisive actions of the evil demon are that other evil demons say, how can we control this guy, what you are reciting is not the Prajnaparamita, thus creating discord. Also, whatever practice is done on the Prajnaparamita, that will become the forerunner of the true edge, etc., it is explained by the practice of not having a Sangha. The false approximation is that the image of Prajnaparamita is the work of the demon, and after fully understanding it, it should be abandoned, thus it is explained. Generating joy in what is not as it is, is that other evil demons see that they come in the guise of the Buddha, generate desire, and after seeing the Bodhisattva transformed by the demon, abandon omniscience, and thus generate desire for him. Why is that? There are not all dharmas in the Prajnaparamita. Why is that? Because it is the nature of all dharmas, thus it is explained. Forty-six faults are obstacles. By the analogy of the great treasure of Jambudvipa, although it is completely occupied by many obstacles, it also explains the various names of obstacles, so for the ignorant, the demon-blessed, the small-minded, the low-minded, etc., this shows the reversal from the certainty of creating obstacles. Although there are many obstacles, one can still attain Buddhahood, because it is the cause of the Buddha's blessing, thus it is explained. The Dharma of obstacles that arise has been removed. The complete perfection of the white Dharma aspect is the cause of the Buddha's power. Why is that? By the analogy of having many sons.
