It is meditation, showing that the fruit of that action itself is particularly superior in meaning. Having shown the determination, pervasiveness, self-nature, and functions of the object that makes the understanding of the path itself possible, now, since the path of the Hearers is to be spoken of, therefore, regarding the manner of understanding the path itself: Through the gate of not perceiving the aspects of the four noble truths, this path of the Hearers should be understood. This is how it is shown. How so? Because the aggregates such as form speak of the six elements such as earth, and the aperture is said to be the element of space. The limbs of dependent origination, with the mindfulness that possesses all aspects of knowledge, are for the sake of desiring the Hearer's vehicle and the meaning of non-contamination. Impermanence, suffering, selflessness, peace, disease, boils, arrows, sins, the other shore, the nature of destruction, shaking, utter destruction, fear, contagious disease, and harm are the aspects of the Hearer's path, because they are practiced by mindfulness that does not perceive, so it is shown. Among these, from impermanence to peace are the aspects of the truth of suffering. From disease to sin are the aspects of the truth of origin. The other shore and the nature of destruction refer to the aspects of aversion arising for each of them. Shaking and utter destruction refer to the aspects of detachment arising for each of them. Fear, contagious disease, and harm refer to the aspects of cessation arising for each of them. Having done so, the noble Hearers, in order to generate aversion and detachment, and to enter into the absorption of cessation, is what is said. Among these, impermanence refers to the nature of arising and ceasing. Suffering refers to the contaminated phenomena, because it is in accordance. Having done so, impermanence is also the noble path, because it is uncontaminated, and it is not contrary to the noble ones, therefore it will not become the fault of suffering. Selflessness

That which is called "absence" is the emptiness of the "self" that is imposed by others. That which is called "peace" is the selflessness of oneself. That which is called "disease" is like the seed of a fruit, being the root of the cause. That which is called "sore" is the arising of suffering. That which is called "sting" is the cause of suffering. That which is called "sin" is the transmission of suffering from one to another, utterly destroying through extreme increase. That which is called "the other shore" is to become an opponent. That which is called "the law of destruction" is the law of destruction by the things that are opposed, and also the meaning of being an object of aversion. That which is called "wavering" is the absence of abiding in one's own nature. That which is called "utter destruction" is the destruction by nature without relying on cause, and also becomes the object of detachment. That which is called "fear" is to become the place of harm in this life and the next. That which is called "contagious disease" is produced by the efforts of demons and so on. That which is called "harm" is the disturbance of the great elements and the falling of hail, etc., becoming the place of arising, which is the meaning of being the object of cessation. By that very attention, the cessation of ignorance, namely, selflessness, peace, and solitude, these three are the aspects of the truth of cessation. The four kinds of renunciation are the attention to emptiness, signlessness, wishlessness, and non-conceptualization, which are shown to be known in a non-objective manner, such as how to renounce through the three doors of liberation, and what is renounced, and non-conceptualization. The nature of the aspects of enlightenment, the non-objective yoga is the aspect of the path, by which they attain the city of Nirvana, therefore it is the aspect of the path. Likewise, the practice of generosity and other perfections is non-objective.

The so-called "union of the ground" refers to the rational way of understanding all reason. Furthermore, if one practices the Prajñāpāramitā, it is selflessness because one can separately recognize the self, what belongs to the self, and the dharmas related to the self. Why? Because the mind of the root of virtue and the Bodhicitta do not arise simultaneously, therefore the mind of dedication is also not simultaneous with the Bodhicitta and the root of virtue. Therefore, the Bodhicitta and the mind of dedication do not arise simultaneously. Why? Because the Bodhicitta and the mind of dedication do not exist in each other and are invisible. This is a way of proving, and because it is proving for the sake of understanding, it is proof. Why? Because the Bodhicitta and the mind of dedication themselves are not mind. Because they are not mind, it is unreasonable to dedicate what is not mind with what is not mind. Therefore, whatever is not mind is inconceivable. Whatever is inconceivable is not mind. In this way, clinging to the separate observation of dharmas is itself the Prajñāpāramitā, so it is a decisive way. To proceed without clinging is decisive. In the Śrāvakayāna path, the sixteen aspects of observation on the four noble truths have been explained. Next, we will discuss what corresponds to the decisive part, namely: In the noble Śrāvakayāna path, because form and so on are empty, the emptinesses are without difference, so it is called the "warmth stage." As it is said in the sutra: " कौशिका (Sanskrit Devanagari: कौशिका, Sanskrit Romanization: kauśika, Chinese literal meaning: Kauśika), form is empty by form. Likewise, so are feeling and so on. The emptiness of form and feeling and so on are non-dual and indivisible." etc. Because these are invisible, they are considered to be the peak. As it is said in the sutra: " कौशिका (Sanskrit Devanagari: कौशिका, Sanskrit Romanization: kauśika, Chinese literal meaning: Kauśika), here, the Bodhisattva Mahāsattva should not abide in form in an invisible way. Likewise, one should not abide in feeling and so on." Regarding this, abiding in the way of permanence and so on.
