Because of life and so on, the correct limit, the countless ones, and all dharmas being emptiness, therefore it itself opens the understanding of sentient beings. Why is that? Because that is without an object of focus. Also, because self and so on, the inconceivable realm, aggregates such as form and so on, realms, the Great Vehicle, immeasurable, countless, and inestimable are all emptiness, therefore it itself opens the understanding of sentient beings. Why is that? Because those are without an object of focus. Also, because self and so on, eye and so on, space, the Great Vehicle, immeasurable, countless, and inestimable are all emptiness, therefore it itself opens the understanding of sentient beings. Why is that? Because those are without an object of focus. Also, because self and so on, perfections such as giving and so on, space, the Great Vehicle, immeasurable, countless, incalculable, and all dharmas being emptiness, therefore it itself opens the understanding of sentient beings. Why is that? Because those are without an object of focus. Also, because self and so on, the emptiness of sentient beings, and likewise the aspects of enlightenment and so on, up to non-mixture, lineage, stream-enterer and so on, and whatever is the vehicle of hearers and solitary realizers, and the thus-gone-one's all-knowingness, space, the Great Vehicle, and all dharmas being emptiness, therefore it itself opens the understanding of sentient beings. Why is that? Because those are without an object of focus. Nirvana, space, examples, and the Great Vehicle as previously shown, open the understanding of sentient beings. As it is said in the sutra: Subhuti, it is also like this: the realm of nirvana, immeasurable, countless, and incalculable, opens the understanding of sentient beings. If that is so, then there is no occasion for the fault of repeating many kinds of other examples for this Great Vehicle and so on. The distinction of realizing that and that.

The situation of the rock, because it increasingly benefits sentient beings, it is taught in this way in order to understand the meaning of gradual entry. As it is said in other sutras: Peaceful wisdom, these kinds should be understood in this way, how and how close to the unsurpassed perfect complete enlightenment, so how and how to make immeasurable, countless, and inconceivable sentient beings mature. Etc. are spoken like this. Thinking of the spontaneously accomplished definite arising, Subhuti, no matter what you say, neither arising nor going to the sky and the Mahayana is seen, and there is no abiding. Going, arising, and not abiding is said to be the spontaneously accomplished definite arising. Why is that? Because all dharmas are unshakable. Why is that? Because the aggregates such as form, and the eyes, etc., and the six elements such as earth, and the dharma realm, and suchness, and the true reality, and the inconceivable realm, and the paramitas, etc., and the aspects of bodhi, etc., and from the powers, etc. to the unshared dharmas of the Buddha, and the perfect complete enlightenment, and the conditioned, and the nature, and the nature of the essence, eliminating all kinds of arising, going, and abiding is to know the spontaneously accomplished definite arising. Thinking of the definite arising beyond the limit, Subhuti, no matter what you say, for the Mahayana, the previous limit is also not available. The latter limit and the middle limit are also not available. The Mahayana called the equality of the three times, therefore it is called the Mahayana. The equality of the three times is the definite arising beyond the limit, as it is said. Why is that? Because the three times are its equality, and the Mahayana and the Bodhisattva, because it and its nature are emptiness, because emptiness prevents the numbers from one to ten, so for the Mahayana, equality and inequality, desire and non-desire, hatred and hatred

Devoid of attachment and attachment, ignorance and devoid of ignorance, name and namelessness, non-virtue and virtue, with outflows and without outflows, with faults and without faults, with afflictions and exhaustion of afflictions, mundane and supramundane, completely defiled and purified, samsara and nirvana, permanence and bliss, self and peace, and the opposite of these, the realms of desire and so on, and even transcendence of these is not attainable. Why is that? Because all of these are unattainable by their very nature. Form and so on, of the past and so on, are emptiness. Why is that? Because emptiness is unattainable by emptiness itself. Form and so on, of the past and so on, are unattainable, therefore, by the equality of the three times, the limit of the beginning and so on, and the perfections are unattainable. Why is that? Because equality is unattainable in equality. Because the past and so on, and the perfections are unattainable, from the mindfulnesses to the eighteen unshared qualities of a Buddha, it should also be stated in the same way. Similarly, from the limit of the beginning and so on, to the ordinary being up to the Tathagata, it is unattainable. Why is that? Because sentient beings are unattainable. Subhuti, thus the vehicle of the Bodhisattva Mahasattva is called the equality of the three times. Abiding in this, the Bodhisattva Mahasattva, having subdued the world with gods, humans, asuras, and so on, will definitely manifest all-knowingness. This is what is taught. Having made the characteristic of attainment the power of definite manifestation, the Blessed One, the Bodhisattva Mahasattvas of the past, future, and present, having trained in this Great Vehicle, have attained all-knowingness. 'Attained' and 'will attain' is said to be the wisdom close to the definite manifestation of attainment.
