Thus, there is no attachment to it, nor is rebirth taken by the power of those. Dwelling by viewing emptiness, signlessness, and wishlessness in meditation and so forth is also not to precede the true limit, because one has donned the armor of the perfection of wisdom endowed with skillful means. The purpose is to know the greatness of the accomplishment of armor, which is fully grasped by skillful means. Saying that the Buddhas of the ten directions of the world praise and so forth is for the purpose of knowing the greatness of the accomplishment of armor, which is fully grasped by the virtuous friend. The explanation of the aspect of the accomplishment of armor from the instruction manual of the Perfection of Wisdom, the Ornament for Clear Realization, is complete. The explanation of the aspect of the accomplishment of entering. Having shown the accomplishment of armor, the accomplishment of entering will be spoken of. There are two aspects to it, namely: entering the Great Vehicle and riding on it. Having done so, the sutra says, 'How much, O venerable Sampo, does a Bodhisattva enter the Great Vehicle and become one who rides the Great Vehicle?' That is what was said. Moreover, by entering the Great Vehicle, one is riding on it, and riding on it is also called entering the Great Vehicle, because the meaning is the same, although one name is established, the distinctions become ninefold: meditation, the formless, giving, and so forth, the path and love, and so forth, those with and without signs, those who are completely pure in the three spheres, those who are to be done and the superknowledges, in the manner of all-knowing, the accomplishment of entering the Great Vehicle, it should be known as riding on it. That is what was taught. The nine distinctions of that are as follows: the entering that arises from the absorption of meditation and the formless, the entering of the six perfections, the entering of the immeasurable, the entering with and without signs, the entering of the complete purification of the three spheres, the entering of what is to be done, the entering of the superknowledges, and the entering of all-knowingness. Among them, the accomplishment of arising from the absorption of meditation and the formless, what is the general

From the Prajñāpāramitā, when practicing the Prajñāpāramitā, with the aspect, characteristics, and signs of emptiness, entering into and arising from the samādhi of dhyāna and the formless realms, dedicating the root of virtue to the unsurpassed, perfect, and complete enlightenment, this is taught as the Mahāyāna. Among these, the aspect, characteristics, and signs of emptiness, etc., wherein, being separated by aspect means being separated by desire. Starting from sinful and unwholesome dharmas, the characteristic is having vitarka and vicāra, etc. The sign is what is shown by the joy arising from separation, etc. The distinction between the lower and upper realms is the form of grossness and quiescence. Wherever there is any feeling, that is the characteristic. The sign is experiencing the taste of samādhi. The entry into the six pāramitās is that, with the attention endowed with the knowledge of all aspects, teaching the Dharma in order to completely abandon the afflictions of sentient beings, that is indeed the Mahāyāna of the pāramitā of generosity. It itself not opening the opportunity for the mind of the Lesser Vehicle is the vehicle of the pāramitā of morality. With the very Mahāyāna of the pāramitā of patience, the attention that teaches the Dharma in order to exhaust the afflictions of sentient beings, for those patience, faith, realization, comprehension, and thought, that is indeed the Mahāyāna of the pāramitā of patience. Merely the initial intention without disagreement is faith. The continuity of the second moment, etc., is patience. Reasoning about various other treatises is approximation. In order to accomplish the meaning of complete examination, and knowing only the causes that harm it is comprehension. In order to have faith in that meaning, harming with all intelligence is thought. It itself, the attention that does not cause diligence to decline, is indeed the Mahāyāna of the pāramitā of diligence. Its very first dhyāna, etc., and the samādhi of the formless realms is the pāramitā of dhyāna.
