It is said that by not being afraid, etc., one will definitely attain omniscience, which is a great teaching. If asked, what is the difference between this and that which is in accordance with the part of liberation? Does "heat has arisen" mean the categories of small, medium, and large? Or, for the differences of individuals with dull faculties, etc., one should also understand the differences of the object of focus, etc., in this. If asked, will there be excessive situations for the peak, etc.? Answer: There is no fault, because this is what is accepted. Whatever belongs to the heat position, in the sixteen aspects of the four truths that are spoken of, heat has arisen means that it focuses on the four truths and possesses the sixteen aspects. The heat position is the peak position, and those are also the same, if asked, how is this understood? Are they like a bushel and a pavilion having the same characteristics? Or is this just the way of entering? Heat has arisen has already been spoken of. Similarly, from the heat that has arisen, which gradually increases in order from small, medium, large, etc., the peaks will arise, because it is the peak of the moving roots of virtue, so it is the peak itself. The complete holding and cause of those should be understood as the previous difference. The peaks as they are, for the forbearance and the supreme of worldly dharmas, one should also explain the difference by the object of focus and the aspect. Among them, the difference of the peak, first is the difference of the object of focus, which is not abiding in all dharmas. When a Bodhisattva practices the Perfection of Wisdom, from "one should not abide in form," to the aggregates, elements, sources, limbs of dependent origination, and the earth element, etc., all prohibit the place of attachment. Abiding in that arises from the mind that thoroughly abides, focusing on things. The opposite of this, one should know is not abiding. This needs to be analyzed: If there is temporarily no abiding, then one should not abide, because it does not exist, so there is no need for an antidote. If it is not abiding, then it is too excessive. For the situation of no obvious attachment, how the reason is explained, one should also look at this question in this way. All dharmas by nature

The ground is distinguished by emptiness. Why is that? Because they are empty by their own nature. As it is said in the sutra: 'Because form is empty by its own form.' etc. Therefore, this abandons the place of clinging to permanence. Phenomena and their emptiness are distinguished, and why is that? Because they and their emptiness are taught to be of the same nature to each other. As it is said in the sutra: 'Bhagavan, form itself is emptiness, and emptiness is form.' etc. Therefore, this abandons the place of clinging to annihilation. The distinction of focusing without dwelling on the aspects of the truths such as suffering is that it is taught that dwelling on the aggregates such as form, separately from 'it is suffering' to 'it is peace', is prohibited. The aspects of suffering etc. are that emptiness is the distinction of the aspects, and why is that? Because the aggregates such as form, suffering etc., their aspects are empty by nature. The aspects of suffering etc., and their emptiness, being of the same essence to each other is the distinction of the aspects, and why is that? Because suffering etc., and their emptiness, are considered to be of the same nature to each other, as it is said. Here also, because suffering itself is pervaded by emptiness, they are of the same nature to each other. However, suffering does not pervade emptiness, because that is the common characteristic of all phenomena. It should be known that this is temporarily the distinction of the object and aspect in terms of suffering and the origin of suffering. In terms of the truth of cessation, the distinction of focusing on the absence of dwelling on suchness etc. is taught as follows: 'Suchness, the nature of phenomena, the realm of phenomena, the nature of phenomena without fault, the ultimate limit of reality, and in conjunction with all dharani gates.' As it is said in the sutra: 'When a Bodhisattva practices the Perfection of Wisdom, he does not dwell in suchness.'

Thus it is said, "to do," and so forth. Suchness and so forth, emptiness by nature, is a distinction of aspect, as it is said: "Bhagavan, thus suchness is empty by nature," and so forth. Suchness and so forth, and its emptiness, mutually being of the same essence, is a distinction of aspect, as it is said: "Bhagavan, whatever is suchness emptiness, it is not other than suchness, that suchness is also not other than emptiness, emptiness is also suchness, suchness is also," and so forth. Here also, it should be understood that both pervade both. If that is the case, is there no difference in meaning? That which is not other in meaning is suchness, and that which becomes the antidote to view is emptiness. Thus, the absence of difference in meaning in all things is the nature of reality, and because it is the cause of the noble dharmas, it is the realm of reality. Because it is definitely the only source, it is the flawless dharma. Because it is not inverted, it is truth. Because it goes to the ultimate end, it is called the end. From the perspective of the path, it is superior because it takes non-abiding and non-manifestation as its objects. Whatever else, with an unskilled mind of self and self-grasping, practices the aggregates of form and so forth, up to the doors of dharani and all-knowingness, in accordance with the Prajnaparamita, it is said to prevent dwelling in contradiction and manifestation. This sutra says: "Bhagavan, if a Bodhisattva, when practicing the Prajnaparamita, dwells in form with an unskilled mind of self and self-grasping, and also practices the manifestation of form, then he is not practicing the Prajnaparamita," and so forth, up to "If he practices without manifestation, then he is not upholding the Prajnaparamita, he is not doing yoga, and because it is not complete, he will definitely not give rise to all-knowingness." Form and so forth are complete.
