The boundary of earth cannot be properly followed and seen. The boundary of the unconditioned also cannot properly follow and see the boundary of the conditioned, which indicates that the wisdom of equality is clearly shown because the object to be focused on and the one who focuses are equal. Explaining from the perspective of the path of meditation: conditioned and unconditioned themselves cannot be considered different from each other, because all phenomena are unobtainable, so there is no fear. This sutra says: Subhuti, the unconditioned cannot be considered different from the conditioned. Nor can the conditioned be considered different from the unconditioned. Therefore, Bodhisattvas are not afraid because they do not fixate on all phenomena, and they are completely unafraid, and so on. Among them, the conditioned is the path, and the unconditioned is abandonment. Since the two cannot be considered different from each other, the establishment of the path of meditation is imputed and not the characteristic of how it is seen as manifest, because there is no difference from things, so it is shown. Therefore, the practice of Prajnaparamita, its aspect of unobtainability, and its object, the Four Noble Truths, and its basis, the Three Refuges, especially its cause of going, non-attachment, and its cause of non-regression, complete non-fatigue, and its cause of not going by other vehicles, complete holding of the path, and its cause of going without relying on others, the five eyes, and its cause of perfecting all omniscience, the six superknowledges, and its cause of ultimate practice, the paths of seeing and meditation, all of these should be understood as being taught in the context of instruction. Therefore, this is an instruction on Prajnaparamita for Bodhisattvas Mahasattvas, and this is a subsequent explanation. In the Prajnaparamita Upadesha treatise Ornament of Clear Realization, the explanation of the aspects of instruction and subsequent explanation. Part of the definitive

I, explaining in a concordant manner. Those that accord with the part of ascertainment should be spoken of. Furthermore, what should be spoken of in these? Four distinctions from the Hearers and so forth are to be spoken of, namely: the distinction of the object, the distinction of the aspect, the distinction of the cause, and the distinction of the complete holding. The application endowed with conceptualization should also be spoken of, namely: how many conceptualizations should be posited in this that accords with the part of ascertainment, the four conceptualizations of grasper and grasped that are to be abandoned by the path of seeing that is explained below? In this case, the distinctions of small, medium, and large should be spoken of individually. Therefore: Through object and aspect, cause and complete holding, the wise Bodhisattva's, warmth and so forth in their own nature, the four conceptualizations are endowed and dependent, small, medium, and large, are superior to Hearers, Solitary Realizers, and those with vows. These two verses are composed to be summarized. Through those, with the arising of the mind of enlightenment, endowed with instructions and subsequent application, listening and thinking, after obtaining the attainment of going beyond the part of liberation, the root of virtue that is the nature of meditation, called warmth, arises, which is the root of virtue that accords with the part of ascertainment. Warmth is called warmth because it is similar to warmth, because it is the cause that precedes the arising of the fire of non-conceptual wisdom. It is superior to Hearers and so forth through four distinctions, namely: the distinction of the object is because it focuses on the aspects of the four noble truths, such as impermanence; the distinction of the aspect is because it is the aspect of not being attached to the aspects of the truths of suffering and origin. Whoever does not cling to the contemplation of the aggregates and other distinct phenomena as the aspects of suffering and origin? Craving for concordant phenomena is a fault. It is taught that not clinging to emptiness and wishlessness in those very things is without fault. The sutra for this is: Venerable Shariputra, for this Bodhisattva

Ah, the great Bodhisattva is attached to the impermanence of form, especially abiding, fully understanding, and attached to the suffering of form, emptiness, and selflessness, especially abiding, fully understanding, and similarly attached to the emptiness of form, desirelessness, abiding, fully understanding, and even the Venerable Shariputra, craving for the Dharma corresponding to the Bodhisattva is a fault, etc. This is temporarily the difference between the object and aspect of the realization of the truth of suffering. The difference between the object and aspect of the realization of the truth of origin is, as stated in the sutra: 'Similarly, this form should be abandoned,' thus clinging, etc. Therefore, for the truth of suffering and origin, impermanence, etc. are taken as objects, and non-attachment, etc. are taken as aspects. What is to be said? The Shravakas are attached to the objects of the characteristics of form, etc., and it will become the aspect of impermanence, etc., because it is not the antidote to the view of self. Bodhisattvas also take the objects of the characteristics of impermanence, etc. as objects, and it becomes the aspect of non-attachment, etc. to it, because it is the antidote to the view of Dharma. Here, the absence of characteristics is not mentioned because it is intended to show the two truths, so it is said from the aspect of entering, because the absence of characteristics is the cessation of the Mahayana and the aspect of the truth of the path. After doing so, what is the absence of characteristics, and what eliminates the discrimination of aspects? The aspect of peace, what is said is in terms of the path of the Shravakas related to things and characteristics, so there is no contradiction between this and that. For what is said about non-attachment, etc., it needs to be examined here, if temporarily there is no attachment, then because there is none, it should not be the antidote. Or if it is not attachment, then it is the eye, etc.
