And only these four are. Having an object that is merely the aspect of a thing, and having an object that is the aspect of an antidote, there are two aspects. The conceptualization of grasping is also an object of designation for all noble beings, and an object of the characteristic of that designation, there are two aspects. These conceptualizations are all within the three realms, this is what is to be shown. Subhuti, what you said, "From where will it definitely arise?", means that it will definitely arise from the three realms. What will abide in the all-knowingness of all aspects? It is non-dual yoga. How will it abide? By the yoga of non-objectification of the two that are contrary to it, seeing and meditation, it is the meaning of combining with non-conceptualization. Why is that? Because whether it is the Great Vehicle, or the Dharma of all-knowingness of all aspects, these two are neither possessing nor not possessing. By saying "formless" etc., this is in terms of the power of the first antidote to the conceptualizations of the path of seeing, because the realm of Dharma, suchness, the limit of reality, the inconceivable realm, space, abandonment, the realm of detachment, etc., and non-arising, cessation, aggregates, sources, elements, etc., it is unreasonable to definitely arise, therefore it is thought that the Dharma of no characteristics will arise. Similarly, it is unreasonable for aggregates, elements, sources, etc. to definitely arise, therefore it is prevented to think that the Dharma of no characteristics will arise. Why is that? Because the aggregates etc. of form etc. are empty of form etc. Why is that? Because their emptiness, and what definitely arises from the three realms, and abiding in all-knowingness of all aspects are prevented, so it is unreasonable for dreams, mirages, illusions, sounds, optical illusions, images, emanations, etc. to definitely arise, so it is prevented to think that the Dharma of no characteristics will arise. Why is that? Because their nature definitely arises from the three realms.

Because it prevents dwelling in omniscience, it is prevented. Why is that? Because it is said that the nature of those is emptiness. From the perspective of the antidote to the second aspect of conceptualization of the apprehended object of the path of seeing, since it is not appropriate for the perfections to definitely arise, it is prevented from dwelling in the definite arising of the signless dharmas. Why is that? Because it prevents the nature of those, as well as the definite arising from the three realms, and omniscience itself. Why is that? Because it is said that the self-nature of those is emptiness. From the perspective of the grasper of the path of seeing, since it is not appropriate for arhats, solitary realizers, bodhisattvas, and perfectly complete Buddhas to definitely arise, it is prevented from dwelling in the definite arising of the signless dharmas. Why is that? Because those are empty of those. Why is that? Because it prevents the emptiness of those, as well as the definite arising from the three realms, and the definite arising into omniscience. Why is that? Because the self-nature of those is empty of those. Similarly, it is taught that the self-nature of the fruit of stream-enterer, self-awakening, and omniscience is emptiness. From the perspective of the antidote to the second aspect of conceptualization of the grasper of the path of seeing, since it is not appropriate for names, signs, symbols, terms, and designations to definitely arise, it is prevented from dwelling in the definite arising of the signless dharmas. Why is that? Because those are empty of those. Why is that? Because it prevents the emptiness of those, as well as the definite arising from the three realms, and dwelling in omniscience. Why is that? Because the self-nature of those is emptiness. Among them, what is designated as name is perception, form, feeling, and so on. What is designated as a sign is that this thing is the characteristic of being able to become form.

Therefore, form is what is called shape and so on. Feeling is what is called experiencing and so on. Nominal designation is how beings are called by their own language and terms, according to the distinctions arising from the realms, destinies, and birthplaces. The distinctions of all these are also threefold: namely, terms, designations, and merely following after whatever the terms may be, but the ultimate truth is emptiness. Likewise, it is taught that unborn, unceasing, completely contaminated, purified, and unconditioned phenomena are empty by nature. By the power of the antidote to the conceptualization of what is grasped by the path of meditation, Subhuti, you said, "Where will it abide?" That is to say, that vehicle does not abide anywhere. Subhuti, like this, all phenomena do not abide. Again, Subhuti, like this, the yogi who abides in the non-abiding of all phenomena, starting from what is called abiding, up to the element of phenomena, unborn, unceasing, un-completely contaminated, unpurified, and unconditioned, is the prevention of abiding and non-abiding in the Great Vehicle. Why is that? Because those are empty of those. Why is that? Because abiding in emptiness and preventing non-abiding. Why is that? Because the intrinsic nature of those is emptiness, it is taught. By the power of the antidote to the second conceptualization of what is grasped by the path of meditation, Subhuti, you said, "From what will that vehicle certainly emerge?" That is to say, that vehicle does not certainly emerge from anything. Why is that? Subhuti, that is like this: if that vehicle is what it is, and all those phenomena from which it will certainly emerge do not exist and are not visible, then from which phenomenon among phenomena will it certainly emerge? Starting from that, why is that? Because self, sentient beings, life, and so on are not objects of focus because they are held to be utterly pure. The element of phenomena and so on, and the aggregates
