Merely with the desire for perfect enlightenment, from the moment of initially generating Bodhicitta, one does not generate desires and other afflictions, nor the mind of a Hearer, etc. Solely with the intention of possessing omniscience, because one does not generate other minds, one protects all sentient beings and does not abandon them completely. Moreover, one does not become arrogant because of this, and one should act with a mind of benefit and happiness. Whatever mind is without distinction, whatever desire and manifest joy there is in that, this is joy in the Dharma. Whatever is taken as the name of its meditation, this is called joy in the Dharma, which is joy in the Dharma itself. And by possessing the yoga of joy in the Dharma, one abides from inner emptiness to the nature of non-things, and from the dharmas that are on the side of enlightenment to the eighteen unmixed dharmas of the Buddha. From the vajra-like samadhi to the samadhi that is liberated and unattached like the sky, one abides, and one distinguishes with the supreme yoga of not focusing on anything at all. Having shown the great nature of generating the mind of enlightenment, one has taken control of the great nature of abandonment. Again, starting from the statement that the Venerable Shariputra generated courage, to viewing self, sentient beings, individuals, etc., and views of annihilation, permanence, existence, non-existence, and clinging to aggregates, etc., up to viewing the unmixed dharmas of the Buddha, and to abandoning the view of ripening sentient beings, purifying Buddha-fields, realizing enlightenment, and turning the wheel of Dharma, one teaches the Dharma in a non-objective way, which is what is being taught. The skillful means of non-objectification combined with objectification is, as it is said, by showing that the collection of views is the cause of non-arising, the meaning is distinguished by the skillful means of non-objectification just mentioned. Having shown the great nature of abandonment, one has taken control of the great nature of realization. Again, starting from the statement that the Venerable Subhuti generated courage, to the unequal and equal mind of enlightenment and the uncommon mind
