If so, because at the time of practice, Lord, because form is inexhaustible, one should directly realize the Prajñāpāramitā, starting from this, until abiding in the Bodhicitta, possessing the Dharma that is not mixed with defilements, and the dependent arising that is like the sky, inexhaustible direct realization, for observation, it is the creation of the wisdom of all-knowingness, such observation is the meaning of abandoning all self and Dharma clinging, making the path of seeing clear, when a Bodhisattva acts in this way, with the analogy of a man whose parents have died, the demons think that they have exceeded their own realm, therefore, it is explained with the suffering of sorrow. Because of this, some people, because of exhaustion or non-arising, do not know exhaustion and non-arising, therefore, for the nature of non-cessation, with the path called seeing, what kind of discrimination is exhausted? What unborn nature is obtained? This is the meaning of what is said. If someone knows exhaustion as exhaustion with the idea of the destruction of things, and says that he knows non-arising with the idea of the non-arising of future things, for these people, here we ask what kind of things are exhausted, or what is obtained without being born? Therefore it says: Other Dharmas also exist, and it is also shown to the knowable, what is said to be the exhaustion of obscuration, I find this amazing. Therefore, there is nothing to be clarified in this, and there is nothing to be established, truly seeing the truth, truly seeing is liberation. This is good. This is also the path of seeing in an instant, so it is said, giving and so on, each one, those that are gathered together, with the forbearance of an instant, what is gathered is the path of seeing here. As the Lord said, Lord, in this Bodhisattva Mahāsattva, giving all-knowingness and practicing giving, starting from this, until practicing Prajñāpāramitā, the six perfections are complete.

is also complete. Similarly, from dwelling in the perfection of generosity to dwelling in the perfection of wisdom, these six each become six groups, totaling thirty-six kinds, all of which are mainly based on the purity of the three spheres, and in short, they are all spoken of by mutual inclusion. In this sutra it is said: Subhuti, when a Bodhisattva-Mahasattva practices generosity, he treats sentient beings with loving-kindness, and the actions of body, speech, and mind abide in purity, this is the perfection of morality. To endure the insults and evil deeds of those who receive charity, this is the perfection of patience. For the insults and scolding of beggars, etc., not abandoning the joy of giving, this is the perfection of diligence. Completely dedicating this generosity to the omniscient wisdom, and without the distracted mind of the hearers and solitary Buddhas, this is the perfection of meditation. When practicing generosity, abiding with illusion-like wisdom, not seeing any benefit or harm, this is the perfection of wisdom. Similarly, from guarding the precepts to practicing wisdom, each is fully summarized by the six perfections, and should be narrated as stated in the sutra. These six groups form thirty-six kinds, that is, when the forbearance of the path of seeing arises, the one hundred and eight afflictions to be abandoned by the path of seeing, which are held by the desire realm, the form realm, and the formless realm, and are held by the four discriminations, will all be eliminated. In order to be free, entering into samadhi, that is: Then entering the lion's triumphant samadhi, observing the direct and reverse dependent origination. The so-called direct cause is ignorance conditioning action, and so on. The so-called reverse cause is that if ignorance ceases, action ceases, and there is no sorrow, grief, or suffering. The path of seeing has been explained. Path of cultivation and its non-

Explanation of the Four Distinctions of Opposing Factors Now, I will explain the four distinctions of the opposing factors of the path of meditation. First, I will explain the path of meditation, and then I will explain these (four distinctions). The path of meditation is also contained within the nine successively abiding samadhis, and these are contained within the transcendent samadhi. Therefore, in order to clearly indicate it, it is briefly explained in terms of the path of meditation as follows: The nine samadhis with cessation, coming and going in two ways, knowing the consciousness of desire, grasping the boundary of non-absorption, the transcendent samadhi, one and two, three, four, and five, surpassing six and seven and eight, going differently up to cessation. Thus it is said. The two ways refer to conforming to the order and not conforming to the order. As it is said, after entering the Lion's Play Samadhi, after individually contemplating dependent origination, with a mind not corresponding to the nine successively abiding samadhis, conforming to the order and not conforming to the order, one, two, three, four, five, seven, eight, and nine, manifesting transcendent samadhi, obtaining many freedoms as desired. This sutra is: Subhuti, here, a Bodhisattva Mahasattva, secluded from desires, secluded from unwholesome dharmas, possessing investigation and analysis, dwells having attained the first dhyana with joy and pleasure born of seclusion, likewise, up to dwelling having attained the samadhi of the cessation of perception and feeling, arising from that samadhi of cessation, enters the samadhi of neither perception nor non-perception, arising from that, enters the samadhi of nothingness, then enters the samadhi of infinite consciousness, then enters the samadhi of infinite space, then enters the fourth dhyana, then enters the third, then enters the second, then enters the
