I (the Buddha) have spoken thus: To be completely ignorant of the nature of afflictions means that one should not engage with desire, hatred, and ignorance as if they were either real or unreal. Why is that? Because the suchness of desire, hatred, and ignorance does not consider anything to be either real or unreal, which is reasonable. Similarly, the practice of treating all dharmas as either real or unreal is prohibited. Why is that? Because after the Tathagata attained complete and perfect enlightenment, there was no object of focus on any dharma, and there was no distinction between conditioned and unconditioned dharmas. Therefore, the Prajnaparamita prohibits treating things as either real or unreal. The unconditioned is the meaning of all noble ones, and like the suchness of space, it does not provide any assistance to this. It is by the way of non-duality that one attains all-knowingness, which is what I have said. Non-duality is the ultimate truth of non-duality. To be completely ignorant of this is to prohibit the attainment of non-dual dharma by non-dual dharma, to prohibit the attainment of dual dharma by dual dharma, and because of not clinging to dual and non-dual dharmas, it is called attainment. Therefore, I have spoken in this way. Because of the extensive differentiation of various discriminations, all clinging to manifest things is incompatible. Therefore, Subhuti, there is no object of focus even on all-knowingness itself, which is what I have said. Therefore, the wisdom that focuses on the absence of objects is uniquely accomplished. If there is no nirvana and no path, then all noble beings would cease to exist, which is a debate. Everything is a manifestation of the unconditioned, and because the unconditioned is unborn and undying, worldly conventions are considered correct, which is the path. Why is that? Because the ultimate truth cannot be expressed through the path of language, which is reasonable. To understand the subsequent limits of all severed extremes is a debate. To understand the emptiness of self-nature, and because of the emptiness of self-nature, the dharmas have...

is completely ignorant, and that ignorance and having ignorance is also shown, which is the answer. Therefore, the wisdom that aims at infallibility is reasonable. Therefore, O Blessed One! It is difficult for Bodhisattva Mahasattvas to abide in unsurpassed perfect enlightenment for the sake of sentient beings, because even sentient beings or what is considered as sentient beings cannot be observed. And so on. When these epidemic diseases disappear, just like reaching the middle after a long time, in all kinds of situations, all the perfections of virtue that accomplish happiness, like four rivers in a great ocean, being brave with excellent fruits, in that great bodhisattva, one should rely on in all kinds of situations. Just as the example of a tree with abundant leaves, flowers, and fruits, bodhisattvas are fields of merit, therefore, becoming the supreme of the enjoyment of happiness of all beings, the meaning of numerous and various kinds, and the gathering of fruits itself, being brave with its excellent fruits, becoming like that is regarded as the Tathagata, and why is that? Because the suchness of all dharmas is the reason for obtaining the two kinds of purity of all-knowing, similarly, learning the Prajnaparamita of suchness is the perfection of the senses, and the mastery of karma, and the place of wishes, and the purity of the wisdom of the three times, and the benefit of sentient beings, and the complete purification of the Buddha's field, and obtaining all-knowing, and turning the wheel of Dharma, and the benefit of liberating sentient beings from suffering, have been declared. This sutra is: Subhuti! For example, someone wants a sapling and sows seeds, but he does not know the root of that sapling, does not know its leaves, does not know the flowers, does not know the fruits, but he plants the seedling of that sapling, and waters it in time, and the trunk of that tree gradually becomes lush with branches and leaves, flowers and fruits are abundant, and he enjoys its leaves, flowers and fruits. Subhuti! Similarly, the Bodhi-
