Thus it was spoken. Fifth, again, placing the beings of Jambudvipa in the unsurpassed, perfectly complete enlightenment, placing one being after another on the ground of non-retrogression, the merit that increases is extremely vast, as was spoken. Sixth, likewise, placing the beings of the four continents is superior to that, as was spoken. Seventh, likewise, placing the beings of a thousand world realms is superior to that, as was spoken. Eighth, likewise, placing the beings of two thousand and three thousand world realms, and the beings of the ten directions' world realms, is superior to that, as was spoken. The ninth part of praise is: again, starting from Jambudvipa, each direction of the ten directions, like the sands of the Ganges River, the beings of the world realms, placing all of them on the ground of non-retrogression, from among those non-retrogressors, whatever Bodhisattva-Mahasattva, for the sake of quickly understanding and clearly knowing, correctly and truly expounds the Prajnaparamita, the merit that increases is extremely vast, and so on, as was spoken. For the Bodhisattvas who generate joy, it fully clarifies the meaning of "Excellent, excellent!" praise. Thus, these praises and so on are the nature of understanding the meaning as it is, and not, as the logicians say, "expressing the meaning with knowledge is praise," it is not the nature of expressing the meaning. And some say that the three-quarters of Om (藏文:ཨོཾ,梵文天城体:ओम्,梵文罗马拟音:oṃ,汉语字面意思:嗡) is reverence. According to what they say, the Brahma of sound is sacred, and like that, it would become reverence. But here, it is the nature of understanding as it is spoken. In terms of praise, I say that this is the logician of poetry. Just like repeating words like butter, those are praises, and if according to those who say that, it would only become sound. But here, the nature of understanding of the ninth part is praise. A part is a branch, it is the meaning of a portion. Having done that, it is the same as the beginning of other sutras.

From those, the Bhagavan Bodhisattva Mahasattva is praised, revered, and extolled by all the Buddhas, and abides together with all methods, what is said is reasonable. The mind-making of faith, praise and reverence, and extolling have been spoken. Explanation of the Mind-Making of Dedication: Now, since it is called the mind-making of dedication, the special dedication is the supreme act of it. That is the aspect of non-objectification, the characteristic of non-perversion. Solitude and the accumulation of merit of the Buddhas are the objects of self-nature remembrance. With skillful means and without signs, and rejoicing in the Buddhas, not belonging to the three realms, the other three dedications of small, medium, and great, are the nature of the great arising of merit. Thus it is said. The distinction of dedication is this: from the objects of merit-making such as the giving of all the Hearers and Solitary Buddhas, the Bodhisattva Mahasattva dedicates without objectification to the unsurpassed, perfectly complete enlightenment, this is called the best. It is called the supreme. It is called the chief, and so on, as it is said. Among them, the best is of two kinds: the supreme that is compliant and endowed, and the chief that is devoid of duality because of being without a second. Among them, the best that has become supreme is of two kinds: the supreme of skillful means, and the supreme because of the perfection of wisdom. The chief is also of two kinds: unsurpassed because of being unequaled, and without superior because of being without remainder. The seven sentences show the characteristic of its distinction. The action of dedication is also that for sentient beings, showing the path of definite arising by the three vehicles, becoming the cause, therefore it is called unequal. Because it becomes the cause of obtaining the equality with the unequal Buddha, it is called unequal and equal. Why is that? Whatever is said by Hearers and so on, and by the self and others of Bodhisattvas. The dedication with the aspect of non-objectification is:

From the initial arising of the minds of all Buddhas in the ten directions, up to the duration of the sacred Dharma, the aggregates such as discipline, and the complete collection of these, the beings who have been fully matured by the three vehicles, and those who have been liberated, all their roots of virtue are gathered together, and after rejoicing and completely dedicating them, starting from "What is a thing?", what is the object of merit that possesses a thing, an object, the mind of enlightenment, a root of virtue, and rejoicing, and the mind is exhausted, ceased, separated, and transformed in nature, from "All dharmas follow the absence of things, and it is good to completely dedicate them in an imperceptible manner," etc., whatever has been said. Among these, a thing is a category. The object is all dharmas. The mind that acts for enlightenment is the discriminating thought that grasps. The root of virtue is non-attachment, etc. The object of merit is intention. Exhaustion is the dissipation of accumulation. Cessation is the dissipation of continuity. Separation is the dissipation of self-nature. Transformation is the dissipation of transformation. The dedication of the characteristic of non-inversion is that the Dharma-nature of the mind that dedicates is also the same. Why is this so? Because it is like this, all dharmas are empty in their own nature. Dedication in a solitary place is, if a great Bodhisattva knows that the object of merit is manifestly accumulated, and that it is separated from the aggregates, etc., from "knowing that all the Buddha's dharmas are separated from their own nature," etc. The dedication of remembering the nature of the Buddha's Dharma belonging to the category of the root of virtue is, what kind of category are the roots of virtue of the Buddhas, and what is their nature, and thus dedicating the object of merit. The dedication of skillful means is, here the great Bodhisattva with skillful means
