The chapter on the pure two extremes in the section on understanding the path. The chapter on the pure two extremes in the section on understanding the path. Explanation of the limbs of understanding the path. Now, the very understanding of the path is to be spoken of. For this, first of all, in order to please the gods, with light shining, and definite place and pervasiveness, and nature and its function, it should be spoken, this is the remainder. Among them, the very shining of the gods is what is said to be the light of all the classes of gods being shone upon by the light of the Tathagata's own nature. This is the meaning of eliminating the gods' guarding of the world and so on, and the conceit of having attained meditation and so on. Eliminating them is also for the purpose of pleasing them, as they themselves said: How should a Bodhisattva Mahasattva abide in the Prajnaparamita? What is the Prajnaparamita of the section on the very understanding of the path of a Bodhisattva Mahasattva? This was said for the purpose of hearing the teaching of the venerable Subhuti. Among them, the light of nature is that which arises from maturation. The definite place is, as it is said: For those who have not generated the mind of enlightenment, there is no opportunity to abide in the Prajnaparamita, and there is no opportunity to be taught, therefore the very understanding of the path is only for Bodhisattvas, and not for Sravakas and so on. This is what was said for the meaning of definitely determining the place. Pervasiveness is with regard to the very understanding of the path, from the beginning of generating the mind, the Prajnaparamita is not one-sided, this is the meaning of pervasiveness, and the meaning of the difference of individuals with order. If that is so, however, if they also generate the mind of unsurpassed perfect enlightenment, then rejoice in them and so on, this is reasonable in the previous distinction related to detachment. This indicates that it has the intention of establishing the three vehicles, but it is not a characteristic. Nature is, just as the paths of Sravakas and so on, the fruits and the realization of the paths are definitely determined, so the Bodhisattva

It is not the understanding of the path, but because it abandons all afflictions, it is said that its nature is extremely superior. The function is, for example, the fruit of the paths of the Shravakas, etc., is completely distinguished by abandonment, and manifests the true limit, but the Bodhisattva does not realize it in this way. However, the understanding of this path itself is completely distinguished by the complete maturation of sentient beings, etc., so it is said that the fruit of its function itself is the meaning of being particularly superior. The explanation of doing Momo Po, etc., has been completed. Explanation of the Shravaka Path Now, in order to explain the Shravaka Path, regarding the principle of understanding the path: This Shravaka Path should be understood by not observing the four aspects of the Noble Truths. Thus it is said. How to understand it? The aggregates such as form, and the six elements such as the space of pores, and the limbs of dependent origination, etc., are contemplated in a way that possesses all aspects of knowledge, with the meaning of not mixing with the desires of the vehicles such as the Shravakas, that is, impermanence, suffering, selflessness, peace, disease, abscess, arrow wound, sin, otherness, destructible nature, instability, extreme destructibility, infectious disease, harmfulness, etc., are contemplated in a way that does not observe the aspects of the Truths of Suffering and Origin. Among them, from impermanence to peace is the aspect of the Truth of Suffering. From disease to sin is the aspect of the Truth of Origin. Otherness and destructible nature are the aspects that arise separately in each of these. Instability and extreme destructibility are the aspects of these that are separate from desire. Destructibility, infectious disease, and harmfulness are the aspects of these that are the cessation of each. In this way, the noble Shravakas enter (this path) in order to generate revulsion, detachment from desire, and cessation.

As stated in the Sutra Pitaka. The term "impermanence" refers to the nature of having the dharma of arising and ceasing. The term "suffering" refers to the fact that all contaminated things are not agreeable. Thus, even though the noble path is impermanent, it does not contradict the noble ones because it is uncontaminated, so it does not become suffering. The term "selflessness" refers to being empty of self and other. The term "peace" refers to the fact that oneself is not self. The term "disease" refers to being the root of the cause, like a seed. The term "ulcer" refers to the arising of suffering. The term "arrow" refers to the cause of suffering. The term "sin" refers to the extreme destruction caused by the continuous succession of suffering. The term "other" refers to becoming an outsider. The term "nature of destruction" refers to the fact that if there is something that harms it, it is the nature of destruction, and it can also become an object of delight, which is the concluding remark. The term "shaking" refers to the absence of abiding in one's own nature. The term "extreme destruction" refers to the self-destruction without depending on cause, and it can also become an object of detachment. The term "destruction" refers to becoming a place of harm for oneself and others. The term "initial disease" refers to the opportunity for harm from rakshasas and others to enter. The term "survival" refers to becoming a place of harm such as the disturbance of the four elements and hailstorms, and it can also be a suitable object of cessation. By contemplating on these, when eliminating ignorance, selflessness, peace, and solitude, these three contemplations are the aspects of the truth of cessation. The four aspects of definite departure are emptiness due to aversion, signlessness, wishlessness, and non-manifestation.
