It is said, "To contemplate in a way that does not focus on inherent existence." How does definitive arising occur? Because it is the three doors of liberation, and because any definitive arising is without action. Merely these are called cultivating the dharmas of the aspects of enlightenment, which is the aspect of the path, because these lead to obtaining the city beyond sorrow. Merely these are called practicing generosity and so forth, the perfections, in a way that does not focus on inherent existence, which is the aspect of reason, because complete realization is reason. Furthermore, beginning with practicing the Perfection of Wisdom, one can individually understand selflessness from the Dharma. Why is that? Because the mind of the root of virtue does not accord with the mind of enlightenment, and the mind of dedication also does not accord with the mind of enlightenment and the minds of the root of virtue, and the mind of enlightenment itself does not accord with the mind of dedication. Why is that? Because the mind of enlightenment and the mind of dedication are mutually non-existent and do not focus on each other, which is called the aspect of accomplishment, because it enables realization, therefore it is accomplishment. Why is that? Because the mind of enlightenment and the mind of dedication are not minds themselves, and it is also unreasonable to dedicate non-mind to non-mind. Thus, whatever is non-mind is inconceivable, and whatever is inconceivable is also not mind, therefore, such individual understanding is the Perfection of Wisdom without clinging to phenomena, which is called the aspect of definitive emergence, because going without clinging to phenomena is definitive emergence. The establishment of the sixteen aspects that focus on the four truths of the Hearer's path has been explained. Since those that are preceded by these, which are in accordance with the aspects of definitive liberation, are to be spoken, therefore, for the Noble Hearer's path: Because the aggregates such as form are empty, emptiness itself has no difference, therefore it is said to be called warmth. Warmth is Koshthila, form is empty of form. Similarly, feeling and so forth, and form's

Emptiness is what, the emptiness of feelings, etc., is what, that is non-dual and cannot be divided into two, as said and so on. Because they are not fixated upon, they are considered to be the peak. This means that for this Kauśika, a Bodhisattva Mahāsattva should not dwell on form in the manner of fixation. Likewise, it is said that one should not dwell on feelings, etc. In that, by means of permanence, etc., dwelling is prevented, the tolerances. This means that one should not dwell on form being permanent, etc., in the manner of fixation, and one should not dwell on form being pleasurable, etc., up to the absence of aspiration. Starting from the ten grounds, by showing non-dwelling extensively, it is said to become the supreme of Dharma. This means that a Bodhisattva Mahāsattva should not dwell on the first ground in the manner of fixation, and even the sound of the Buddha will not arise in that Buddha-field of mine. One should not dwell in the manner of fixation. As said and so on. One should not dwell, why is that? Because the Buddha, having known, did not see the dharmas. This means that the Tathāgata, Arhat, Perfectly Complete Buddha, having manifestly awakened to the Unsurpassed Perfectly Complete Enlightenment, because he did not fixate on all dharmas. As said and so on. The path of the Hearer has been explained. The Explanation of the Solitary Buddha's Path The path of the Solitary Buddha should be spoken of, in that, briefly. In order to realize the self-born nature, one does not need the teachings of others, and the wisdom like a rhinoceros horn is manifestly spoken of as profound. This is the concluding statement of the Solitary Buddhas, etc. Among them, not needing the teachings of others is this: How is it said? The language of the Yakshas, etc., is knowable, but the meaning spoken by Sthavira Subhūti is unknowable. Thus it is said. The Yaksha language of the Yakshas, etc., the words of the Yakshas, what the Yakshas speak

Whatever is proclaimed by the earth and the yakshas, that is, what is said as "ya" etc., those called yaksha languages are understood through their own symbols. Word refers to the collection of languages. Saying refers to the meaning of "purity" until the meaning that one wants to express can be completely expressed. Proclaiming refers to asking and answering in the response of speech. Those that exist refer to those that have already been closely obtained. That is understandable. The venerable Subhuti explains, elaborates, shows, and closely shows the Prajnaparamita. Upon that, he prays, and showing is explaining. Answering after asking is elaborating. Placing these two under the control of the ignorant beings to be tamed and explaining is showing. Placing it under the control of the negligent ones, approaching and showing is closely showing. Sons of gods, like this, here not even a single word is spoken, starting from here, it is to prevent detailed explanation and hearing. Because Prajnaparamita and perfect complete enlightenment, through examples of illusion, dreams, echoes, and magic, are without letters, therefore there is no detailed explanation and hearing. If so, it is both teaching the Dharma and not elaborating, because it is the cause of obtaining the fruit of teaching the Dharma. It is also because of the fulfillment of the Buddha's wish. Teaching the Dharma is the nature of speech, therefore it will become a great distraction. Considering that distraction also causes continuous confusion, the Buddha, the Bhagavan, when he was previously a Bodhisattva, vowed that after I attain Buddhahood, like a wish-fulfilling jewel, even without speaking, I will be able to benefit sentient beings. Therefore, it is possible to show meaning without expressing it in words. To show this, it is said in the sutra: Whatever meaning, for whomever; however one wants to hear; for that one, the meaning is like that; even without sound, it appears as such. Thus it was proclaimed. To that
