And also shapes, colors such as blue and yellow, and the three times, past, present, and future, are all obstructed. Because it has no other changing characteristics, decrease and increase are also obstructed. Because it is by nature completely pure, all defilements, as well as complete purification, birth, cessation, abiding, change while abiding, and transformation while abiding are all obstructed. Among these, arising from nothing is birth, ceasing after arising is cessation, similar continuation is abiding, dissimilarity is change while abiding, and the continuation becoming something else is transformation while abiding. Because its essence and all arising, and sameness are the five aggregates, virtue, non-virtue, and neutral states are all obstructed. Because it transcends the realm of the senses, seeing, hearing, remembering, knowing, and various consciousnesses, as well as what is to be known, what is to be fully known, and what is to be completely known are all obstructed. Among these, what is to be known is knowing everything, because it is to be observed and transcended through knowledge and vision. What is to be fully known is knowing the path, because it is to be fully known until Buddhahood. What is to be completely known is completely knowing everything, because it is to be known from all aspects, because there is no limit to the Great Vehicle. Because it is free from the various discriminations of entering and returning, what is to be completely known, what is to be abandoned, what is to be realized, and what is to be cultivated are all obstructed. Because it contradicts the relationship of cause and effect, the ripening of karma and its dharmata are all obstructed. Because it is not associated with the three realms, attachment to the desire realm and other realms is obstructed. Because it is not the nature of consciousness, like space, in the Great Vehicle, from the initial generation of the mind to the tenth bhumi of mind generation are all obstructed. Similarly, because it is not the nature of a basis, from the White Pure Land and so on, to the Accomplished Action Land are all obstructed. Because it is not the nature of reliance, the fruits such as Stream Enterer and so on, and...

Because the grounds of Śrāvakas, Śrāvakas, Pratyekabuddhas, and Buddhas are blocked, and there is no absence of conceptualization that is the antidote to this. The Mahāyāna possesses forms associated with antidotes, things that are visible, obstructive, and endowed, as well as things that are permanent, blissful, self, and peaceful, and things that are non-empty, have characteristics, and have aspirations, as well as solitariness and appearances associated with antidotes, etc. Because there is no attachment to things and distinctions in these, the attainment and approximation of things as they are in order, and because there is no conceptualization of inherent nature in these, it is taught by blocking speech and perfect speech. Among these, speech is the cause of understanding oneself, it is knowledge, because this itself is what speaks. Perfect speech is the word that is the cause of making others understand, because speaking to others is perfect speech. Having made the empowerment of definite emergence for the sake of sentient beings, it is said: Subhūti, for example, you say this, for example, just as the sky opens up the opportunity for sentient beings who are immeasurable, countless, and unquantifiable, so too, the Mahāyāna opens up the opportunity for sentient beings who are immeasurable, countless, and unquantifiable. Therefore, it is called Mahāyāna. This is because of the emptiness of sentient beings, the sky, and the Mahāyāna, the Mahāyāna opens up the opportunity for sentient beings who are immeasurable, countless, and unquantifiable. Why is that? Because sentient beings, the sky, and the Mahāyāna are invisible. This shows that the path contained in the form of non-objectification is the cause of definite emergence for the sake of sentient beings. The path is also contained by the ten Bodhisattva grounds, because the emptiness of sentient beings, the sky, and the Mahāyāna is immeasurable, so the Mahāyāna has the opportunity for sentient beings mentioned earlier. Why is that? Because sentient beings and so on are invisible, because the conceptualizations of the first ground and so on are not the objects of the path of seeing.
