It is said that the divisions of accumulation become seventeen kinds, namely: six such as love and giving; calm abiding and insight; whatever path is united; whatever is skillful in means; wisdom and merit; path and dharani and the ten grounds; the order of practice of the antidote accumulation, should be known. That is to say, the seventeen kinds of accumulation practice are these, namely: the accumulation of great compassion, the accumulation of giving, the accumulation of ethics, the accumulation of patience, the accumulation of diligence, the accumulation of meditation, the accumulation of wisdom, the accumulation of calm abiding, the accumulation of insight, the accumulation of the united path, the accumulation of skillful means, the accumulation of wisdom, the accumulation of merit, the accumulation of the path, the accumulation of dharani, the accumulation of the grounds, and the accumulation of antidotes. Among these, the accumulation of great compassion is: the Bhagavan donned great armor. What does it mean to don great armor? What does it mean for a Bodhisattva Mahasattva to don great armor? By showing the reason why that word applies, he made the accumulation practice. In each of the ten directions, by illuminating the beings of hell, animals, and the world of Yama in worlds as numerous as the sands of the Ganges with the light of his own body, pacifying their suffering, and enabling them to prostrate to the Buddhas and so on. By that cause, they are liberated from those bad destinies, and until enlightenment, they obtain in a true way births that please and accord with the Buddha, that is what is said. Because the aspect of being free from suffering is compassion. The accumulation of giving is: giving food and other resources to those beings who desire those resources, and teaching them the Dharma, so that they do not separate from the six perfections until enlightenment, that is what is said. The accumulation of ethics is: merely causing those beings to practice the ten virtuous paths of action and meditation, and so on, up to the unique Dharmas of the Buddha.

And establish well between the eighteen parts. Those sentient beings, until complete enlightenment, are inseparable from the Dharma taught by him. The accumulation of patience is: If all sentient beings strike me with stones, sticks, clods, fists, and hands, and stab me with weapons, I will not generate even a little bit of angry mind towards them. Thinking like this and establishing one's own patience well is what is said. The accumulation of diligence is: Just that number of sentient beings, by generating a mind endowed with omniscience, cause body and mind to engage in diligence, and immerse them in it, and establish it well. That is, what is said by means of correct, definite, combining, establishing, and complete meanings. The accumulation of meditation is: Just that number of sentient beings, abiding in themselves, without seeing any Dharma as distracted or undistracted, until complete enlightenment, cause them to hold onto and immerse themselves in it, and establish it. That is what is said. The accumulation of wisdom is: Just as oneself does not perceive this shore and the other shore in any Dharma, likewise, cause them to correctly hold onto and immerse themselves in it, and establish it. That is what is said. Among them, this shore is samsara, because children only feel happy here. The other shore is nirvana, because those who focus on their own benefit only feel happy in the perfection of diligence in combination. The accumulation of tranquility is: Again, just as oneself abides in the perfection, likewise, cause that number of sentient beings to correctly engage in and immerse themselves in the six perfections, the dharmas of the limbs of enlightenment, and from the fruit of stream-entry, etc., up to the eighteen unmixed dharmas of the Buddha, and in the Buddha himself, and establish it. Do not focus on the fact that the realm of sentient beings is exhausted by just this number. At that time, the perfection of generosity, which brings about near happiness, and the perfection of morality, which brings about near future happiness, the patient one is joyful, and by dedicating oneself wholeheartedly, one obtains the single, definite result.

Therefore, to approach the definite bliss, the perfections of patience, diligence, and meditation, and to approach the permanent bliss, the Prajnaparamita is taught. The collection of Vipassana is taught: with the two words "magician or disciple of a magician," it prevents the doubt that the nature of illusion is something not born from other causes, thereby thinking it has its own essence, because it is merely an appearance. Therefore, why is that? Subhuti, like this, by approaching the Dharma nature of illusion, because that is the Dharma nature of all Dharmas. All worldly people defeated by the movement of speculation merely understand it as appearance. Therefore, O Blessed One, if I understand as the Blessed One has said, by approaching the Dharma of illusion, which is emptiness of its own nature, then a Bodhisattva Mahasattva should understand that, for the sake of emptiness of self-nature, he has donned the armor of no armor. Starting from clarifying the meaning of the steadfast Subhuti. Why is that? From form and so on, the aggregates and so on, and the Paramitas, and all emptiness, from the aspects of Bodhi to the eighteen unshared Buddha Dharmas, and the Bodhisattva, and the armor of the Mahayana, from form and so on up to the armor of the Mahayana, through the names of emptiness, one should know that one has donned the armor of non-existence. Why is that? Because the agent is not seen, for the sake of omniscience and armor, the action to be done, sentient beings have not done, not created, not manifestly accumulated, this is to prevent the object of action. From the aggregates and so on, and self and sentient beings and so on, and dreams and sounds and so on, up to Suchness, and the non-erroneous Suchness and so on, and Bodhi, and omniscience, because it is also extremely difficult to see the agent and the maker.
