etc., from which omniscience will definitely arise, and the knowledge of the aspects of the path will definitely arise, and one will attain all-knowingness, that is its meaning. Among these, apprehending things as signs is attention. That which is called "I" together with things is comprehensive knowledge, for example, "I shall look at the forms of my eyes," and so forth. Knowing and knowable, the knowledge that manifestly clings to the aspects of grasper and grasped is imputation. Expressing various things, both grasped and ungrasped, is terminology, for example, in the world, "This is barley," "This is water," "This is dirt," "It is similar," and so forth. The definitive explanation of the three words "unwavering, fearless, and unrepentant" is that they should be understood as the three words "unafraid, not terrified, and unrepentant" in that order. Among these, fear of an inappropriate situation is being afraid, similar to a wrong path. Because it is absent, it is unwavering. Constant fear is being terrified, because the fear that has arisen does not revert. Because it is absent, it is fearless. Fear that has become definite is being unrepentant, because it is absent, one is unrepentant. Among these, the first conceptualization of the grasped aspect is only all things, and the second is only purified things; this is the difference between these conceptualizations of the grasped aspect. Having done so, saying that whatever is the first conceptualization of the grasped aspect is also the second is connected to the previous word. For the time being, the first is also the second, for example, like all things that have become the first conceptualization of the grasped aspect. It is only the second, but not the first, for example, like relying on the second purified thing as the conceptualization of the grasped aspect. The distinction of truly possessing has been explained. In short, the verses in the context of the classification of conceptualizations as previously explained are: By the basis and its antidote, conceptualization of the grasped is twofold. By the distinction of ignorance and aggregates, etc., it is separately ninefold. The grasper, which is the support of substance and imputation, is also considered twofold. Independent self and so forth.

The nature of earth, and the aggregates, etc., are likewise dependent on conditions. Thus it is said. Skillful means and virtuous friends are the means of embracing Bodhisattvas. As it is said, starting from the cause of not being timid and not panicking, etc., by the power of skillful means, with the intention of possessing all-knowingness, one does not individually contemplate impermanence, suffering, emptiness, selflessness, peace, and solitude in the aggregates such as form, but individually distinguishes them. And with the intention of possessing all-knowingness, which possesses the non-objectification of those very things, teaching the Dharma of impermanence, etc., in those very things is the very nature of the perfection of generosity. And by intending impermanence, etc., in those very things, without holding anything as supreme, it is the very nature of the perfection of morality. Likewise, enduring impermanence, etc., in the six elements such as the earth element, and individually distinguishing them as they pass, is the very nature of the perfection of patience. And by individually distinguishing impermanence, etc., in the aggregates, etc., and possessing non-objectification, the intention of possessing all-knowingness is not abandoned, which is the very nature of the perfection of diligence. Not distinguishing the occasion of intending to possess inferior vehicles is the very nature of the perfection of meditation. And between the aggregates, etc., and the unmixed Dharmas of the Buddha, emptiness is prevented by its emptiness, and those things and their emptiness mutually knowing their nature is the very nature of the perfection of wisdom. Separated from the intention of possessing all-knowingness, from the perfections to the unmixed Dharmas of the Buddha, one cultivates and prides oneself on focusing on them, and thus panic, etc., change. Therefore, it is said that skillful means are shown as the meaning of the distinction of skillful means. Skillful means have been explained. The embracing of virtuous friends is showing non-objectification of impermanence, etc., from the aggregates, etc., to the unmixed Dharmas, and the supreme and unsurpassed roots of virtue are also truly...
