When practicing, one does not attend to the Prajnaparamita, and does not correctly see it accordingly. If one learns in this way, then the Omniscient Wisdom will arise in a way of non-attention, and so on, as it is said. Regarding the discriminations of self and so on: Shariputra, I do not attend to, and do not correctly see myself accordingly, because it is extremely pure, from this beginning, to the point of saying, 'Likewise, all-knowing wisdom,' and so on. Regarding the discriminations of purity arising and so on: Shariputra, purity is unborn, unarisen, and without manifest action, this is what is said. The first part of the discrimination of the apprehended has been explained. The second part will describe the object of mere utter purification, which includes the categories of aggregates, elements, sense bases, dependent origination, and so on, which belong to the category of utter purification, and there are nine types. Among them, the discrimination of the meaning of aggregates is: Because of unskilled means, one attends to and clings to form, from this beginning, to attending to and clinging to consciousness, this is what is said. The meaning of aggregates is because they are accumulations. The discrimination of the meaning of the gate of birth is: one attends to and clings to the eye, from this beginning, to the mind, and from attending to and clinging to form, to similarly attending to and clinging to dharma, this is what is said. The meaning of the gate of birth is because it is the meaning of the sense base. The discrimination of the meaning of lineage is: one attends to and clings to the element of eye, form, and eye consciousness, this is what is said, and the meaning of seed is the meaning of element. The discrimination of the meaning of birth is: one attends to and clings to ignorance, from this beginning to 'likewise,' the meaning of arising from the unarisen is the meaning of birth. The discrimination of the meaning of emptiness is: from its internal emptiness to the emptiness of the nature of non-things, one attends to and clings to it, this is what is said.

As for what was said, mere non-existence cannot become the antidote made by views, because it is not appropriate. As for what was said, the discrimination of the meaning of transcendence is to discriminate and cling to the six perfections, and mere non-existence of things cannot make the perfection of fulfilling the benefit of oneself and others. As for what was said, the discrimination of the path of seeing is to discriminate and cling to the thirty-seven factors of enlightenment, because the moments of existence of forbearance and knowledge can be separated. As for what was said, the discrimination of the path of meditation is to discriminate and cling to these meditations, superknowledges, immeasurables, and formless absorptions, because by abiding in existence, one can truly transcend from the limbs of meditation, and because one focuses on the formless absorption, one should truly transcend. As for what was said, the discrimination of the path of no more learning is to discriminate and cling to the ten powers of the Tathagata up to the omniscient one, because the action taken is the boundary of the complete learning of its basis. The second part of the discrimination of the grasped is finished. Now, the first part of the discrimination of the basis of the person as substantially existent or of destruction will be explained. It is divided into nine types, namely, the discrimination of self and possessor of power, such as what was said, "Shariputra, do not observe self, do not observe sentient beings, life, person, etc." Why is that? Because it is extremely pure, selfless and invisible. The observation of the valid measure is its antidote. As for the discrimination of the single self, such as what was said, "Shariputra, do not observe form." Up to "Do not observe consciousness." Because the meaning of the aggregates is the side of the antidote. As for the discrimination of the self as cause, such as what was said, "Shariputra, do not see the eye." Up to "These four

Among them, what is said about "up to mind, and from form not depending, to dharma not depending"? Because the meaning of the aggregates is its antidote. The conceptualization of self as the seer, etc., is, Shariputra, from "eye, form, and eye consciousness not depending," to what is said about "mind, dharma, and mind consciousness not depending"? Because the meaning of the realms is the side of its antidote. The conceptualization of self as the basis of pervasive defilement is, Shariputra, from "dependent arising not depending," to what is said between "the formless realm not depending"? Because the meaning of dependent arising is its antidote. The conceptualization of self as the basis of detachment is what is said from "the first dhyana not depending" to "the formless absorption not depending"? Because the meaning of detachment that truly transcends from the object of meditation and the limbs of the formless is its antidote. The conceptualization of self as the basis of seeing is what is said, "the noble truths not depending," because the meaning of seeing the truth is its antidote. The conceptualization of self as the basis of meditation is what is said, "the eight liberations, and the nine successive abidings not depending," because the meaning of meditation that manifests the ground of the body is its antidote. The conceptualization of self as the basis of accomplished meaning is from "the ten powers not depending" to "omniscience not depending." How does it not depend? In its own nature. Why is that? Because its own nature is extremely pure. This is what is said, everything should be declared. The first conceptualization of clinging to the real existence of a person has been explained. Now, the second conceptualization of clinging to the basis of the existence of a nominally designated person is to be stated, so it should be placed nearby.
