It is said up to the stage of "ground" and so on. The so-called "non-returner," if he has abandoned the eight kinds of afflictions of the peak of existence, then it is said that from then on he enters the fruit of Arhat. As it is said: Shariputra, great Bodhisattvas who abide in the six perfections, manifest the Buddha's teachings to sentient beings, and they themselves do not depart from the manifestation of the Buddha's teachings until they attain the unexcelled perfect enlightenment and become Buddhas. That is what is said. In this regard, a Bodhisattva who abides on the tenth ground should be called a Tathagata. Why? Because for sentient beings, he is close to the deeds of the Tathagata. An Arhat is a perfectly enlightened Buddha, and it has already been explained that one takes refuge in the Buddha Jewel, so it is not repeated here. The Bodhisattva is spoken of in terms of the Pratyekabuddha: Shariputra, great Bodhisattvas in worlds where there are no Buddhas and no Shravakas, themselves attain enlightenment and become Buddhas. They are skilled in means, and they ripen countless sentient beings in the three vehicles, and then they attain unexcelled perfect enlightenment and become Buddhas. Here it is also said: Those with dull and sharp faculties, faith and those who have attained sight, from lineage to lineage, those who are born as once-returners, those who are doers and non-doers, those who go to Akanistha, those who go to the limit of the peak of existence with three leaps, those who see the destruction of attachment to form, those who directly realize the Dharma body, the rhinoceros horn and the twenty. For the time being, it starts from the Bodhisattva who follows faith and goes up to the Bodhisattva Pratyekabuddha. It is only by the path of the Buddha that one distinguishes those who enter and abide in the fruit, and the stream-enterer and so on, which are to be attained by the path of the Shravaka, and the Pratyekabuddha himself, which is to be attained by the path of the Pratyekabuddha.

That Bodhisattva's path is not something that can be attained temporarily. Nevertheless, sentient beings are placed from the fruit of stream-entry up to the state of a Pratyekabuddha. As it is said: Shariputra, those great Bodhisattvas who have attained the mindfulness, the right abandonments, the miraculous feet, the faculties, the powers, the branches of enlightenment, and the branches of the path, although they do not attain from the fruit of stream-entry up to the state of a Pratyekabuddha, they do place sentient beings in those. Furthermore, how can it be proper to place others in a Dharma that one has not attained oneself? Shariputra, the knowledge and abandonment of the Shravakas and Pratyekabuddhas is said to be the forbearance of the great Bodhisattva who has obtained the forbearance of non-arising Dharmas. That is, it is the forbearance of knowing the Dharma in suffering. Shravakas and Pratyekabuddhas pass beyond by looking with the knowledge and vision of the Bodhisattva. It will also be explained that in the very path of seeing of the Bodhisattva, all the realizations of the Shravakas and Pratyekabuddhas are completely perfected. This is the conclusion. In order to clearly show that this is the Sangha of non-retreating Bodhisattvas, it is said: Shariputra, know that whoever possesses these realizations of the Buddhadharmas is a non-retreating Bodhisattva. The place of all the Dharmas of realization is twofold: abandoning non-virtuous Dharmas and also properly taking up virtuous Dharmas. As it is said: Shariputra, a great Bodhisattva should not make distinctions of opportunities with bodily, verbal, and mental transgressions, but should train in the completely pure actions of body, speech, and mind. In the Sutra of the Wheel of Non-Retreating, from the Bodhisattva who follows faith onwards, up to the Bodhisattva called Pratyekabuddha, the Bhagavan himself spoke for the purpose of strongly opposing the distinctions of individuals, so one should look there. This is what we have briefly quoted.

What is the use of weaving what has already been spun? The teachings on the Three Jewels have been explained. The teachings for the non-attached, spoken with empowerment, are: "Bhagavan, starting from the actions of the great Bodhisattva's body, including faults," because not clinging to the body, etc., one does not generate miserly thoughts, etc., which are contrary to reaching the other shore. Not clinging to the body, etc., is the very path of the Bodhisattva. For the teachings to those who are not completely weary, with empowerment: There is no arrogance towards form, and no arrogance towards feeling, perception, formation, and consciousness, up to perfect and complete enlightenment. If one practices in this way, one will not completely grasp the body that is to be blamed. For if one becomes arrogant, one will become completely weary. For the teachings to those who have completely grasped the path, with empowerment: Shariputra, the great Bodhisattva, with whatever wisdom he possesses, sees the Tathagatas, Arhats, perfect and complete Buddhas, as numerous as the sands of the Ganges in the eastern world. He also hears them teach the Dharma. Similarly, the south and west, etc., are also spoken of. Therefore, non-attachment will not lead to complete degeneration. With "name" as the head, one will go as far as possible. By completely grasping wisdom, one will not go to other paths. For the teachings on the five eyes, with the empowerment of the fleshly eye: Shariputra, the great Bodhisattva's fleshly eye can see a hundred yojanas, and even see the three thousand great thousand worlds. This is because it arises from the result of maturation, so it can determine each object. The fleshly eye has the object of the lord's fruit, and it is also included in the three thousand great thousand worlds. The divine eye is: Shariputra, the divine eye of the gods from the retinue of the Four Great Kings up to Akanishta, the Bodhisattva
