In short, even if a wrong path has been shown, as an example of an Arhat Bhikshu, one will not deviate from the right path due to other external conditions. Why? Because he will no longer misunderstand any pure Dharma that leads to liberation. For this reason, furthermore, regarding the perception of demons as worldly phenomena, such as perceiving bones as impure, when showing illusions of the path, being able to recognize "this is a demon," and not abandoning all sentient beings, this is the stage belonging to patience. Not being separated from the mindfulness of Prajnaparamita is abiding in accordance with the correct conduct proclaimed by the Tathagata, and the thought of not regressing from generosity paramita etc. up to omniscient wisdom, this is the stage of the supreme Dharma. The essence of the sutras widely proclaimed in prose, summarized in verses, are six points: cessation of form etc., doubt without labor exhausted, abiding in pure self-nature, others placing them there, holding onto other conditions of generosity etc., and no doubt in profound meaning. Loving-kindness body etc. and obscurations, contradicting five kinds, all latent tendencies destroyed, mindfulness and awareness, clothes etc. all pure, no worms arise in the body. Without deceit, the mind is subdued, without taking or abandoning, without fatigue, possessing Dharma nature and being able to go, seeking hell for the benefit of sentient beings, not being seduced by others, understanding that the demon showing the wrong path is the work of a demon, is the conduct that pleases the Buddha, with those twenty signs, the warm position and the peak position are complete with patience, abiding in the supreme Dharma, not regressing from complete Bodhi. For the stage that is in accordance with the Dharma of discernment, the characteristics of the non-regressing Bodhisattva have been explained. Now we will begin to speak of the stage of the Path of Seeing. And what is that for? Because it is said in the sutra: The Path of Seeing has patience, and sixteen moments of wisdom, one should know that this is the characteristic of the non-regressing Bodhisattva. What are the sixteen? For example, the patience of the Dharma knowledge of suffering.

Returning from the perception of form, etc., is indeed non-returning. And why is that? Because it is like this: the irreversible Bodhisattva Mahasattva, because all dharmas are empty of their own nature, enters the Bodhisattva path without hindrance. He does not cling to that dharma, therefore he does not manifest and create, therefore he is not born. That is the irreversible Bodhisattva Mahasattva, who possesses the patience of non-birth. Therefore, returning from thought and manifest action is the characteristic of non-returning, which is spoken according to this reason. Also, the Dharma-knowledge of suffering is such that the demon comes near, prevents faith, and says that all omniscience is the same as space, is the nature of non-entity, and is empty of its own nature. Starting from the non-apprehension of the knower, knowledge, and the object to be known, in order to prevent the desire for subsequent dharmas, because the heart is full of water, it is said with the meaning of not losing what is sought by the correct practice of steadfastness, immovability, and non-seizure. Among them, the mind is firm because Binbi Jia is not proclaimed. Immovable because of direct realization. Not seized because it is not the realm of others. The forbearance of the subsequent knowledge of suffering is spoken by the steadfastness of the Bodhisattva who relies on both non-returning and returning, that is, returning and non-returning, among the Shravakas and Pratyekabuddhas and all omniscience. Among them, when entering the truth, what is returning, and when not entering the truth, what is entering, those are combined here as returning or non-returning, merely returning or not destroying is not. In the third moment, due to separation from the subsequent knowledge, it is possible to fall into the position of Shravakas, etc., because that is the cause of entering the antidote to the three realms. For the subsequent knowledge of suffering, again, taking the will of the Bodhisattva who rejoices in Kudu as the main thing, abandoning the limbs with remaining and exhausted parts, the nine successive attainments of gradual abiding, and the Dharma of the limbs of enlightenment.
