And, what is said about the Bodhisattva who wishes that the lineage of the Buddha would not be interrupted, that is because he wants to achieve the fruit of how he prays. The thirteenth is having the Paramita of Power, like the sun. What is said about the Bodhisattva Mahasattva wanting to fulfill the wishes of all sentient beings, etc., that is because he wants to fully ripen the sentient beings to be tamed. The fourteenth is having the Paramita of Wisdom, like a beautiful musical sound. Wanting to know the amount of fine dust of the four great elements of the three thousand great thousand worlds, and likewise, giving like this will become a great fruit, giving like this will be reborn as a royal family or like the Sala tree king, etc., giving like this in an unapprehending way, one can perfect the Paramita of Wisdom, wanting to know these Bodhisattva Mahasattvas, etc., that is because he wants to be a teacher who guides the sentient beings to be tamed. Among them, the Sala tree king refers to having the power to clearly symbolize. The fifteenth is having clairvoyance, like a king. Wanting to transcend each of the ten directions with one aspiration, the infinite world, wanting to destroy all the great water masses of the three thousand great thousand worlds a hundred times with the tip of a hair, and wanting not to harm the beings living in it, wanting to extinguish the fire of the kalpa's end with one breath, wanting to completely cover the great scattered wind mandala with the tip of one finger, wanting to completely fill all the space realms with one hair, wanting to roll up all the mountains such as Mount Sumeru with one hair, and then lift it up and throw it to immeasurable worlds, wanting to all the Buddhas, Bhagavan of all the Buddha lands in each of the ten directions

Wishing to see with the divine eye, and wishing to hear the Dharma from them, Wishing to listen with the divine ear, and wishing to know the mental conduct of all sentient beings, Also wishing to remember their past lives, and wishing to accomplish the supernormal knowledge of knowing the exhaustion of defilements, and wishing to manifest the true limit, the Bodhisattva, thus it was proclaimed. That is because they have unobstructed power and accomplish the benefit of others. One should not disbelieve that Mount Sumeru and other mountain kings are bound by a single strand of hair and thrown into limitless world realms. Because this shows the power of meditators, this is an inconceivable Dharma. Sixteenth, possessing merit and wisdom is like a treasury. Wishing to offer a single alms-round to all the immeasurable Buddhas and the assembly of Shravakas, wishing to place those who have seen the truth from the fruit of stream-entry to the unsurpassed, perfectly complete enlightenment, the great Bodhisattva, thus it was proclaimed. That is because he is like a treasury of many accumulations of merit and wisdom. Seventeenth, possessing Dharmas that are in accordance with the aspects of enlightenment is like a great road. Wishing to obtain all the qualities of the Buddhas, the Bhagavat, past, future, and present, and wishing to reach the other shore of conditioned and unconditioned Dharmas, the Bodhisattva, thus it was proclaimed. That is because he is where all the noble beings go and follow. Eighteenth, possessing tranquility and insight is like a vehicle. Wishing to go before all the Shravakas and Pratyekabuddhas, wishing to become the retinue among all the Buddhas, the Bhagavat, Wishing to obtain the retinue of the great Bodhisattvas, and wishing to completely combine qualities, and wishing to make sentient beings rejoice with the deeds born from generosity, ethics, and meditation, and with the objects of merit that possess respect and wealth, the Bodhi-

What is meant by the term "Bodhisattva"? It refers to one who, through the union of two truths, does not fall into either samsara or nirvana, and is thus easily carried along. The so-called inner wheel refers to the wisdom that enters into the secret of the Buddha Bhagavan, and follows the wisdom that enters into subtle wisdom. Nineteenth, possessing dharani and fearlessness, is like water adorned with ornaments. All that has been spoken and will be spoken by the Buddhas Bhagavan of the ten directions, from the sutras and verses that have been uttered and prophesied, to the slightest teachings between the extremely vast and the wondrous, is desired to be heard, desired to be held, desired to be fully understood, desired to be truly realized, and also desired to be widely proclaimed to other beings. This is called a Bodhisattva. This is because he can hold water, can endlessly emanate, can hold the Dharma that is in accordance with the Dharma, whether heard or unheard, and can emanate the teachings without end. Twentieth, possessing the joy of Dharma, is like a beautiful instrument. In each of the ten directions, in the middle of the world, which has long been in darkness, illuminating it with the light of the body, wanting to allow the beings born there to hear the sound of the Buddha, the sound of the Dharma, and the sound of the Sangha, wanting to establish them in the correct view, this is called a Bodhisattva. Therefore, he proclaims pleasant sounds to those who wish to be liberated. The joy of Dharma also has four aspects: separately observing that all conditioned phenomena are impermanent, separately observing that all contaminated phenomena are suffering, separately observing that all phenomena are without self, and separately observing that nirvana is peace. Twenty-first, possessing the path of one going, is like the continuation of a river. The beings of the boundless realms of the ten directions, such as the blind, the deaf, the mad, the naked, the hungry, the thirsty, and so on, and those who have fallen into the lower realms, wanting to liberate them from such suffering, to obtain a human body, and also to have them obtain discipline and samadhi.
