It is for the benefit of others. Therein, the condensed teaching on this is: Shariputra, here, the great Bodhisattva, wishing to fully awaken to all dharmas in all aspects, should strive in the Prajnaparamita. This is what was said. Therein, the extensive teaching on this is: Shariputra, here, the Bodhisattva Mahasattva, abiding in the Prajnaparamita in a non-abiding manner, should perfect the Paramita of Giving in a manner of non-abandonment, because of not fixating on the giving, the object of giving, and the recipient. This is what was said, and so on. Therein, the condensed teaching for the benefit of others is: The Bodhisattva Mahasattva, in each of the ten directions, in worlds as numerous as the sands of the Ganges, wishes to completely lead all sentient beings there into the realm of Nirvana without any remaining aggregates, therefore, one should train in the Prajnaparamita. This is what was said. Therein, the extensive teaching on this is: The Bodhisattva Mahasattva should train in the Prajnaparamita, wishing to make beings who are miserly rejoice in giving, and those who are immoral rejoice in morality. This is what was said. Thus, having spoken of the nature of generating the mind, with an object and with a purpose, now speaking of the nature of its distinctions, namely the twenty-two distinctions: That is, earth, gold, moon, fire, treasure and jewels, source, ocean, vajra, mountain, medicine, spiritual friend, wish-fulfilling jewel, sun, song, king, treasury and great path, vehicle, adorned water, sound, attendance, river, clouds, these are the twenty-two aspects. This is what was said. Therein, the first mind generation of the Bodhisattvas, endowed with aspiration, is like the earth. Shariputra, here, the Bodhisattva Mahasattva, wishing to fully awaken to all dharmas in all aspects, should strive in the Prajnaparamita. This is what was said, namely all dharmas in all

Wanting to realize complete enlightenment is because it is the basis for all Buddhist teachings and the arising of their assembly. Second, having intention is like pure gold. Shariputra, the Bodhisattva Mahasattva should abide in the Prajnaparamita in a way that is without abiding, because there is no attachment to giving, generosity, and acceptance. One should perfect the Paramita of Giving in a way that is without abandoning, and so on, it is said that one should perfect the Prajnaparamita because there is no attachment to all dharmas. The intention of benefit and happiness gathered by the six perfections abides until complete enlightenment, therefore it is intention, because it does not rely on future and present transformations. Third, having superior intention is like the waxing moon. Therefore, one should abide in the Prajnaparamita and meditate on the thirty-seven factors of enlightenment, and so on, until meditating on the nine impure perceptions, and meditating on the eight thoughts of a great person, and meditating on the eighteen unshared qualities of a Buddha. Because the thought that all virtuous dharmas will increase is a superior intention, it is called superior intention. Fourth, having effort is like fire. The Bodhisattva Mahasattva who, with all-knowing wisdom, wants to transcend by looking with knowledge and vision, wants to abide in the irreversible stage, wants to perfect the knowledge of the path, and wants to attain all-knowingness, should train in the Prajnaparamita. The effort of the three all-knowing wisdoms is the most excellent effort, it is the ultimate effort, therefore, like fire that becomes more and more excellent due to the difference in firewood, it becomes more and more excellent. Fifth, having the Perfection of Giving is like a great treasure. Wanting to place miserly beings in generosity, and the Shravakas and Pratyekabuddhas

Those who wish to subdue all with a single bodhicitta, the great bodhisattva said: Even if one satisfies limitless beings with material enjoyment, it is inexhaustible. Sixth, possessing the perfection of discipline is like a source of jewels. Wishing to establish those who have broken their vows in discipline, and rejoicing in the discipline of the Hearers and Solitary Buddhas, the great bodhisattva who wishes to subdue all with a single bodhicitta should train in the perfection of wisdom, because all limitless precious qualities arise from it. Seventh, possessing the perfection of patience is like a great ocean. Wishing to establish those with harmful minds in patience, and rejoicing in the patience of the Hearers and Solitary Buddhas, the great bodhisattva who wishes to subdue all with a single bodhicitta should train in the perfection of wisdom, because all unwanted things that befall cannot disturb it. Eighth, possessing the perfection of diligence is like a vajra. Wishing to establish the lazy in diligence, and rejoicing in the diligence of the Hearers and Solitary Buddhas, the great bodhisattva who wishes to subdue all with a single bodhicitta should train in the perfection of wisdom, because it is unwavering in its steadfastness. Ninth, possessing the perfection of meditation is like the king of mountains. Wishing to establish those whose minds are distracted in meditation, and rejoicing in the meditation of the Hearers and Solitary Buddhas, the great bodhisattva who wishes to subdue all with a single bodhicitta should train in the perfection of wisdom, because it is unmoved by the distraction of objects. Tenth, possessing the perfection of wisdom is like medicine. Sentient beings
