If someone says that it would be too extreme if one did not abide anywhere, then just as the explanation was given for not having manifest attachment, so too should this be viewed. The difference in aspect is that the emptiness of impermanence, which the Bhagavan spoke of, is not impermanence itself. Apart from impermanence, there is no emptiness. Therefore, impermanence and so forth, and their emptiness, are mutually distinct in terms of their own nature. Why is that? Because the Bhagavan said that impermanence is also emptiness, and emptiness is also non-conceptual nature, therefore they are considered to be the same nature. Among them, the meaning of impermanence is the meaning of non-existence, and the meaning of suffering and the meaning of misery is the meaning of non-arising, therefore impermanence and misery are the nature of each other with emptiness. If it is not like that, the general characteristic of conditioned dharmas is impermanence, and the general characteristic of contaminated dharmas is misery, therefore the general characteristics of all dharmas, these two and emptiness, will become universally clear to each other. Alternatively, the object of imputation of impermanence is only impermanence, and the nature of suffering is only suffering, and both object and emptiness are considered to be universally pervasive, so there is no fault. Similarly, with regard to the truth of origin, its aspects should be stated, namely the cause, the arising, the production, the object dependent on conditions, and the difference in aspects. With regard to the truth of cessation, the difference in the object of not abiding in suchness and so forth, that is, one who practices the Perfection of Wisdom should not abide in suchness, and should not abide in the ultimate limit. Why is that? Because the Bhagavan said that suchness is empty of the nature of suchness and so on. Among them, one should contemplate suchness that is devoid of object, and know that it is empty by its own nature, because if there is an object, one will be attached to it. The difference in aspect is the Bhagavan

That the emptiness of the Thusness of the Tathagata is not the Thusness, and so on, for what reason? World-Honored One, as such, the Thusness is emptiness and emptiness is the Thusness, and so on, is what you said. Among them, what is called the emptiness of the Thusness is not the Thusness, because the Thusness of separation is indeed a construct. That emptiness is not other than the Thusness, because what is signified is emptiness in the ultimate sense. Among them, by the meaning of unchanging, it is the Thusness. Thus, by the meaning of the antidote made, it is emptiness. By the meaning of indivisibility, it is the Dharma-nature. The Dharma-realm is the same as the former. By the meaning of definite arising, it is the definiteness of Dharma. The ultimate limit of reality is also like the former. Taking the truth of the path as authority, by the meaning of non-abiding and non-action, the difference of the object is, World-Honored One, if one abides in form, then one engages in the direct perception of form, but does not engage in the Perfection of Wisdom, does not engage in the Perfection of Wisdom, and so on. Why is that? The Bodhisattva Mahasattva who engages in direct perception is not taken hold of by the Perfection of Wisdom, and so on, is what you said. The difference of form is, why is that? World-Honored One, as such, form has nothing to be taken hold of, and what has no taking hold of form is not form because of the emptiness of its own nature, and so on, by negating its essence in what is not taken hold of, such as form, is what you said. This is the Samadhi Wheel of the Bodhisattva Mahasattva, called the non-grasping of all Dharmas, which is the pinnacle. It is also called the vast wheel because it obtains other gatherings of Samadhi, which is the vastness of the Dharma-realm. By making it present, it means that it abides present by the differences of object and form. Called immeasurable determination.
