Those great beings who attain meditative absorption and formless absorption will be born from the sphere of infinite space up to the peak of existence, and then various Buddha-fields and so on are taught. Thus, there are six types of non-retrogression. The seventh is nirvana in the present life, as it is said: Shariputra, if a great Bodhisattva is adorned with the thirty-two marks of a great man on his body, and his senses are completely pure, possessing unsurpassed qualities, then they will never be born in evil destinies or evil paths, nor will they fall back, nor will they praise themselves, nor will they slander others. They are loving and pleasing to many beings. Any sentient beings who see those Bodhisattvas, their minds will also be very joyful, and by that very joy, they will gradually attain complete nirvana through the three vehicles. Those Bodhisattvas possess immeasurable life and completely hold countless wheel-turning monarchies. While dwelling in those monarchies, they have also served, revered, offered to, and attended to countless billions of Buddhas. Later, in this very place, they will manifest unsurpassed, perfect, and complete enlightenment. Those who attain cessation and do not regress, in order to manifest with a Dharma body similar to nirvana, are therefore said to manifest with the body. And how does one manifest with the body? Because without mind, it arises relying on the body. As it is said: Shariputra, if a great Bodhisattva practices the Perfection of Wisdom, and sports with meditative absorption, immeasurables, and formless absorptions, they enter into the first dhyana. Having arisen from that, they enter into cessation. Having arisen from that, they enter into the second dhyana. Thus, extensively, Shariputra, in this way, a great Bodhisattva who practices the Perfection of Wisdom, being skilled in means, therefore enters into the surpassing samadhi.

Having entered into equanimity, it is said that in various Buddha fields, etc. What is called a non-returner is that if the eight afflictions of the peak of existence are abandoned, then it is said that one has entered the fruit of Arhat from this. As it is said: Shariputra, the great Bodhisattvas who abide in the six perfections, manifest the Dharma of the Buddhas to sentient beings, and do not separate from the manifestation of the Dharma of the Buddhas until they themselves attain the unexcelled perfect enlightenment. Therefore, a Bodhisattva abiding on the tenth ground should be called a Tathagata. Why? Because for sentient beings, he is very close to the deeds of the Tathagata. An Arhat is a perfectly enlightened Buddha, and because refuge in the Buddha Jewel has also been shown, it is not mentioned here. The Bodhisattva is spoken of in terms of the Pratyekabuddha. Shariputra, the great Bodhisattvas who, in worlds where there are no Buddhas or Shravakas, independently attain enlightenment, are skilled in means, and after maturing hundreds of thousands of sentient beings in the three vehicles, then manifest the unexcelled perfect enlightenment. Here it is also said: Those with dull and sharp faculties, faith and those who have attained sight, from lineage to lineage. One life remaining, born in Akanistha. Three births, ultimately reaching the peak of existence. Destroying the desire for form, those who see, manifest body and mind to the Dharma. Rhinoceros horn and twenty. For the time being, from the Bodhisattva who follows faith, up to the Pratyekabuddha. It is only by the Buddha's path that those who enter and abide in the fruit are distinguished, not by the stream-enterer, etc., which can be obtained by the Shravaka's path, and the path of the Pratyekabuddha.

Those solitary realizers who are to be attained by it, the path of the bodhisattva does not attain them for a while. However, sentient beings are placed between the fruit of stream-entry and solitary enlightenment. As it is said: Shariputra, great bodhisattvas who have attained mindfulness, perfect abandonment, miraculous feet, faculties, powers, limbs of enlightenment, and limbs of the path, although they do not attain the fruit of stream-entry up to solitary enlightenment itself, they place sentient beings in those things. Furthermore, how is it appropriate to place others in a dharma that one has not attained oneself? Shariputra, the knowledge and abandonment of the hearers and solitary realizers is said to be the forbearance of the great bodhisattva who has attained forbearance of the unborn dharma. That is the forbearance of knowing the dharma in suffering. Hearers and solitary realizers pass by looking with the knowledge and vision of the bodhisattva. It will also be explained that at the very path of seeing of the bodhisattva, all the realizations of the hearers and solitary realizers are completely perfected. This is the meaning of the irreversible bodhisattva sangha, for the sake of clearly showing it completely, Shariputra, this is the actualization of the Buddha's dharmas, one should know that it is an irreversible bodhisattva. The basis of all the dharmas of realization is twofold: abandoning non-virtuous dharmas and also properly taking virtuous dharmas. As it is said: Shariputra, a great bodhisattva should not distinguish the opportunity for bodily, verbal, and mental transgressions of body, speech, and mind, and should train in the purification of bodily, verbal, and mental actions. In the Sutra of the Wheel of Irreversible Turning, starting from the bodhisattva who follows faith, the Blessed One himself spoke for the purpose of making the distinction between the bodhisattva and the solitary realizer extremely contradictory, so there
