For you, because you know to understand that equality with non-number and countlessness, therefore they are countless. For times, because a measure is not perceived, therefore if you understand it with immeasurability, you know that it is unconditioned, therefore it is immeasurable. Because it cannot be measured, therefore with immeasurability, you know that you have obtained power over the realm of all-knowingness, therefore it is immeasurable. Therefore, based on the nature of the characteristics of countlessness and so on, all phenomena, in terms of emptiness, are countless, immeasurable, and limitless. Thus it is said. If that is so, the teachings of countlessness and so on are not expressed in the ultimate sense. The nature of emptiness, the ultimate truth, even with different expressions, is not different, this is the thought here. In conventional truth, the Buddhas approve of those common causes of compassion. As it is said, because the difference between letters and meanings is not determined, therefore it is not to be expressed and not to be counted, from there until Nirvana, this shows the common cause of the Tathagata's compassion. Thus it is said. If these are the display of the common cause of the Tathagata's compassion, then these must become the object of all, if asked, the answer is: Just as I understand, these meanings spoken by the Blessed One are the display of the common cause of the Tathagata's compassion, then the Tathagata has completely awakened to all phenomena, therefore, all phenomena are unspeakable. How are they unspeakable? Because their (all phenomena's) emptiness cannot be spoken. For the unspeakable thing, there can be no loss or increase. Through the path called meditation, what is lost and what is gained? As it is said, the nine kinds of great discriminations and so on, what is lost? As it is said, the nine kinds of small discriminations and so on, the path, what is

Effort is made to obtain something. Because it is said that, for the unspeakable seed, in order to prevent its decline and growth, it is said from the Paramitas that preventing the decline and growth between the Buddha's unmixed dharmas, therefore, it is also not qualified to perfectly attain the omniscient wisdom. The answer to this is: Like Bodhi, this accomplishes the desired meaning. This is a synonym for "the path of meditation." As it is said, for all the dharmas of realization, those who hold the growth prevent its growth, like the unsurpassed perfect enlightenment, those who have complete dedication such as mindfulness are considered to be qualified. If asked what kind of Bodhi is, it is said: Bodhi is the nature of Suchness, and that is also its nature. This is what is said. That is, from the Suchness of form to the Suchness between Nirvana, because it is the unsurpassed perfect enlightenment, therefore, like this, practicing Prajnaparamita, preventing its decline and growth, is what is said by permission. Thus, because the cause and effect, or the effect and cause, follow each other's nature, the relationship between cause and effect is truly declared. Even if that is done, the mind will not be enlightened by the previous Bodhi, nor by the later one. Thus, because the initial and later Bodhicitta do not meet each other, after practicing diligently for three great asamkhyeya kalpas, without accumulating roots of virtue, therefore, please ask, which Bodhicitta can attain unsurpassed perfect enlightenment? This is what is said. Now, if asked how will it arise? It is circulated in the world, in the manner of the lamp's metaphor. As it is said, with the metaphor of the burning wick, it is known that both Bodhicittas have fruits, because Bodhicitta becomes its object, by learning the ten bhumis, it is known that it is unsurpassed perfect enlightenment, therefore, the initial and later Bodhicittas are also not.

It is said that one will not be fully and completely awakened without relying on those. How should this be understood? It has been said, "The profound Dharma nature, in various continuities." This statement should be connected with "One should follow this occasion." How are there eight kinds? There are eight kinds of profound. What are they? Birth and cessation, Suchness, knowable object, knowledge, Knowing and acting, non-duality, Skillful means are profound. Thus it is said. Among them, birth is profound because one will not be fully and completely awakened without relying on those, so dependent origination is profound. The arising of the mind of cessation is prevented, which is what is said. As it is said, "Subhuti, what do you think? Will the mind that has ceased arise again?" "Bhagavan, no." This is what is said. Cessation is profound because the arising of the mind is the nature of cessation, so for its nature, cessation is prevented, which is what is said. As it is said, "Subhuti, what do you think? Do you think that the mind that has arisen is of the nature of cessation?" "Bhagavan, yes, it is of the nature of cessation." "What do you think? Will that which is of the nature of cessation cease?" "Bhagavan, no." Thus it is said. What does this mean? When it arises, it clearly tends towards cessation, so being contained by cessation is its nature, so what else is there to prevent? Suchness is profound because, as it is, they abide in suchness, because it is an inconceivable object, so it is considered to transform into the nature of the true limit, which is what is said. The knowable object is profound because, from suchness, the mind is not other, which is what is said. Knowledge is profound because suchness does not see suchness, which is what is said. As it is said, "Suchness does not see suchness." Thus it is said. Acting is profound because, acting in that way, since one does not act on anything, acting in the profound Prajnaparamita is permitted. Why is that? Because one abides in suchness, so for prediction, etc.
