etc. Just as I vow to fully ripen all sentient beings, one who trains in this way will be without obstacles in the interval between the form aggregate and abiding in the true Dharma. Why is that? Because he has previously completely occupied the form aggregate, etc. Why is that? Because that which is completely ungraspable is pure in its very nature. For example, as it is said in the sutras, from "the form aggregate is completely ungraspable" to "all-knowingness is not completely ungraspable," it is all like that. These that accord with ascertainment also each become three kinds of statements by way of the distinctions of small, medium, and large. Among these, the small one belonging to the heat stage is: generating equanimity towards all sentient beings and abiding in that, etc., because at that time it is non-harming to others. The medium one is: generating the mind of benefiting all sentient beings, etc., because the latter is the thought of benefiting others. The large one is: generating the mind like that towards one's mother, sister, etc., and abiding in that, because at that time and later one wishes to accomplish the desires of others. The small one belonging to the peak stage is: vowing to turn oneself away from killing, etc., because one wishes to avert others from the cause of suffering. The medium one is: vowing that I too shall perfect the perfection of generosity, etc., because it is for placing others in the fruit of happiness. The large one is: vowing that I too shall meditate on inner emptiness, etc., because one wishes to make others abandon the inverted clinging to suffering and happiness. The small one belonging to the forbearance stage is: vowing that I too shall completely understand suffering, etc., because one wishes to make others definitely enter the noble path. The medium one is: vowing that I too shall know the fruit of stream-entry.

To manifest, generate wisdom, and not manifest the true limit, etc., what is said? Because others must be combined with the fruit. The great is, I will also make the Bodhisattva attain enlightenment without fault, etc., what is said? Because others must be truly combined from the Buddha himself. This should be known as a moment of forbearance. The supreme Dharma, the small, is, I will also make sentient beings fully mature, etc., what is said? Because without distinction, it is thought to fully mature them with the three vehicles. The middle is, I will also generate the Bodhisattva's manifestation of knowledge, etc., what is said? Because sentient beings especially must be combined with the Bodhisattva path. The great is, I will also generate the wisdom of all-knowing, etc., what is said? Because others must be destroyed at the ultimate peak of all perfections. As it is said that great forbearance is a moment, so is the supreme Dharma, which is in terms of its own meaning. This depends on others, the small, medium, and large, these three are explained differently, because for the sake of others, there are stages in order, so this and that are contradictory. The parts corresponding to the decisive part of the union path have been explained. Explanation of the irreversible Bodhisattva Sangha. If this is the Sangha of the Hearers or the Sangha of the Bodhisattvas, which should be said? Among them, the Sangha of the Hearers should be known only as the four pairs of persons divided by the difference between the fruit of the path and the path of the fruit. The Sangha of the Bodhisattvas to be declared is divided into three stages: corresponding to the decisive part, the stage of the union path; the stage of the path of seeing, which is included by forbearance and knowledge; the stage of the path of cultivation, which has continuity, for what reason? Decisive branch

From then on, it is the path of seeing and habituation! Those bodhisattvas who abide, they are the retinue of non-retrogression in this place. Thus it is said, "Pure intention" is its synonym. Because it is to be said that it is different from the Shravakas, etc., Retrogression from form, etc. is a sign, By means of exclusively proclaiming the sign, Abiding on the part of the decisive factor, The sign of non-retrogression, this mind. Thus it is said. Among them, retrogression from form, etc. is: Subhuti, all dharmas are without signs, without marks, without characteristics, it should be understood like this. And because the connection of the knower is prevented, from the dharani to the complete and perfect enlightenment, this retrogression is the retrogression of the bodhisattva. Why is that? Because attachment to form is without self-nature, therefore it is proclaimed like this. Among them, the sign is encompassed by the opposing side. The mark is encompassed by the sign that relies on itself. The characteristic is to understand that it is the cause of complete enjoyment. And because there is no doubt, therefore one does not prostrate to other gods, nor does one give flowers, etc. And one does not hold onto the eight inopportunenesses and the things of women. Among them, the eight inopportunenesses are these: Wrong view, Hell, Animal realm, Being born in the realm of Yama, Not hearing the teachings of the Buddha, Being born in a border area, The senses are dull and deficient, Being born in the long-lived gods. Also abiding on the path of the ten virtuous actions, And urging others to abide in it, Praising it, Rejoicing in accordance with it, Not focusing on all sentient beings and practicing the six perfections, By giving sutras, etc., making the thoughts of all sentient beings complete, Dedicating to the unsurpassed, complete and perfect enlightenment, Because one does not see all dharmas, therefore there is no doubt about the profound dharma, No hesitation, No doubt. Among them, desiring other paths is doubting because it is not complete. Not conforming to the straight path is hesitation. Because the dharma of the lineage is pure, therefore there is no shrinking from the increase of various signs.
