If separation has been explained, then now the seven aspects of necessary separation between the speaker and the listener should be stated. Why is that? Because the separation and non-separation of desires and other intentions between the listener and the speaker can lead to separation from the Sangha, which is actually the work of Mara. Therefore, distinguishing the speaker and the listener as the former and the latter can also destroy various obstacles. Thus, it should be understood that both the listener and the speaker are in the state of being both the former and the latter, and this is for that purpose. Among these, the seven obvious connections between the speaker and the listener are as follows: being alone, delighting in retinue, desiring to follow, not allowing opportunities, desiring a little material gain, not wanting to give, becoming an obstacle to life, going in the direction of immutability and not going, similarly, going in the direction of good harvests and famines, and not going, going in the direction of being disturbed by thieves and so on, and not going, and abandoning the listener by looking after the family. As in the 'Bhadrakalpa Sutra,' everything that is said from 'the speaker and the pure one' to 'causing them to come by looking after the family that gives food.' The divisive methods of the evil Mara are: Furthermore, the evil Mara says, 'This is what appears in our scriptures, this Prajnaparamita is not.' Also, through divisive methods, if someone practices the Prajnaparamita, then the true limit will be manifested, etc., whatever means of separation from the Sangha are spoken of. False approximation to accomplishment refers to the image of Prajnaparamita being fully in accordance with Mara, and completely abandoning the work entrusted by Mara. Generating joy in unreal realms and so on refers to, furthermore, seeing Mara holding the Buddha's attire and generating desire, and seeing the Bodhisattva manifested by Mara and generating desire, which leads to the omniscience of all aspects.
