Which Bodhisattvas, abiding in what state, are those who, abiding therein, become the supreme Dharma for the great assembly of sentient beings and the great class of sentient beings? They are those, therefore they are called Bodhisattvas Mahasattvas. Thus it was said. Abiding in the freedom of great renunciation, in order to show the pride of the Venerable Shariputra, it was said: "World Honored One, starting from the view of self, the view of sentient beings, and so on, up to the view of annihilation, the view of permanence, the view of existence, the view of non-existence, the view of aggregates, and so on, up to the eighteen unshared Dharmas of the Buddhas, as well as maturing sentient beings, purifying Buddha lands, realizing enlightenment, and the various views between turning the wheel of Dharma, in order to abandon these views, the Dharma is taught in a non-objective way, and those who are not skilled in means, as mentioned before, become the cause of generating various views, having just said that, those who are skilled in non-objective means are distinguished by this. Among them, by the meaning of generating pride, it is self, because it is from this that pride arises. By the nature of timidity, it is sentient being. By the freedom of the life force, abiding in the complete category of equal shares, it is life. Born from the freedom of karma and afflictions, and produced by the nature of impermanence, it is the one who is born. Nourished by food such as morsels, it is the nourisher. The son is said to be the body, relying on this, it is Purusha (Sanskrit: puruṣa, man). Others say that because they have male genitals, they are men. According to their view, those who are proficient in physiognomy will not become men, which is unreasonable. Because it relies repeatedly on all beings, it is Pudgala (Sanskrit: pudgala, person). Mainly born from the actions of the mind, it is therefore mind-born. Because it protects pride, it is the lord of consciousness. Relying on virtuous deeds and so on, it is the doer. Because it individually and universally experiences its ripening result, it is the experiencer. Because it is the basis of the mind's consciousness, it is the knower. Because it is the basis of the five consciousnesses such as the eye, it is the seer. Previously occurred

Since it is not present now, it is annihilation. Whatever exists by its own nature is not non-existent, therefore it is permanent. Whatever exists is always existent, and whatever is non-existent is utterly non-existent. This is called the view of existence and non-existence, like that of the Lokayata. The remaining views are easy to understand, so they are not explained. In order to show the power of great realization, the courage of the venerable Subhuti is shown. World Honored One, the mind of enlightenment, the unequal and equal mind, the mind that is not common to all Shravakas and Pratyekabuddhas, the mind that is without defilements and does not belong to the three realms, is also without attachment because of its emptiness of self-nature. Therefore, it is counted among those called Bodhisattva Mahasattvas. And so on. Among them, the mind of the meaning of enlightenment is the mind of enlightenment. Unequal refers to the Buddhas. Being equal to them, it is unequal and equal. Why is that? In this way, the mind is not a mind, therefore it has no attachment to it. Again, by what equality is the mind equal to the unequal Buddhas? Shariputra, the Bodhisattva does not truly see any dharma arising or ceasing, starting from here, liberated from arising and so on, spoken of by the characteristic of the uncommon mind. Among them, starting from generating the first mind, it is from the expression. Not truly seeing arising or ceasing in any dharma refers to not seeing the manner of aiming at the previous and later stages and cessation and arising during the stage of heat. Not seeing decrease and increase refers to not seeing the manner of aiming at the exhaustion and difference of the previous and later stages during the stage of the peak. Not seeing coming and going refers to not seeing the manner of aiming at the nearness and distance of the dharma of realization during the stage of patience. Not truly seeing complete defilement and complete purification refers to not seeing the inconsistent and opposing aspects during the highest stage of worldly dharma.

It is not seen in the manner of... 'To what' means by which path of seeing is it not seen. 'Without universal affliction and without purification' means to show the path of meditation in a reverse order, because how does one approach manifestation in seeing. There is no mind of a Shravaka in this. There is no mind of a Pratyekabuddha, which clarifies the uniqueness of generating the mind. Venerable Subhuti, since form is empty by nature, is there no attachment to form? Starting from here, since it is acknowledged that all dharmas are without attachment, it shows the realm of realization. Venerable Subhuti, is there no attachment to form even in the formless? Starting from here, up to the unmixed dharmas of the Buddha, since it is acknowledged that there is no attachment to the dharmas of the Buddha, it prevents the manifest clinging and arrogance to that mind, and shows that relying on realization through the union of non-perception of both knowable and knowledge eliminates attachment. In this, form is the dharmata of form. In this, non-attachment is for the sake of discerning the delusion of the nature of form. Therefore, it should be known that the characteristic of making the great assembly with the distinction of abandonment and realization, and the great multitude of sentient beings supreme, is for the sake of making the unvictorious victorious and for the sake of accomplishing the special characteristics of the Bodhisattva in accordance with the Dharma. If asked, what is the difference between the object and the purpose? The object is its greatness, and the purpose is the future fortune, which is similar to the combination of arrow and bow and hitting the target. The basis of practice, the object, and the purpose have been explained. Explanation of Armor Practice Now, the practice will be explained. In that, for the realm of the three omniscient ones, in general, the action with the support of white Dharma is the practice. For the four types of Abhisamaya, such as the complete realization of all aspects, for each Abhisamaya, that which is unobstructed and ungrasped by the six perfections is the meaning of practice.
