Possessing the essence of a wish-fulfilling jewel, endowed with a voice like the Kalaviṅka bird, it is the very sound of Brahmā. The cheeks are perfectly formed like a maṇḍala of a mirror, round, full, and pleasing to behold, the cheeks are like a lion. Possessing teeth as white as Kunda flowers and broken conch shells, hence the teeth are white. The teeth have no height or depth, hence the teeth are even. The teeth have no gaps, hence the teeth are well-aligned. The teeth have no excess or deficiency above or below, hence the teeth are forty in number and even. Because the black and white are distinct and extremely pure, and without any red, hence the eyes are deep blue. Because the eyelashes below and above are well-drooped and unmixed, the eyelashes of the Tathāgata are like the eyelashes of a bull king. The commentary on this is: What is the cause that accomplishes what? That and that are perfectly complete, so these marks are truly accomplished. It should be understood that these characteristics of the Saṃbhogakāya are also accomplished from the characteristics of complete purification in the past. Furthermore, what are the causes of purification in the past for which marks? Welcoming the guru, etc., truly receiving steadfastness, relying on the four means of gathering, giving abundant objects, liberating those to be killed, and virtues, such as truly receiving and increasing, are the characteristics of the cause of accomplishment, as stated in the sūtras. As stated in the sūtras: Welcoming the gurus, sending off, etc., listening to the Dharma, offering garlands of flowers, going to monasteries and stūpas, etc., giving servants and retinues, therefore possessing the marks of wheels on the hands and feet, which is a sign of a very large retinue. Because of great steadfastness in the chosen deity, the feet are very stable, which is a sign of immovability, that no one can shake one's own Dharma of realization. Because of relying on the four objects of gathering, the fingers of the hands and feet are connected by webs, which is a sign of quickly gathering beings who have not been gathered. Because of giving abundant food, drink, licking substances, and seasonings, the hands and feet are soft and lustrous, and the seven places are high.

In order to properly receive and properly propagate the virtuous Dharma, and in order not to let it decline, the protrusions of the feet are not visible, and the body hair grows upwards, which are precursors to the nature of non-decline or those to be tamed.
