It is to abide in proximity. If it is not done, then here, with the fault of exhaustion, violations are established, and dust, ashes, and smoke abide in proximity in small amounts. The sign of appearance is like a red garment abiding in the sky, or like a golden wind banner, or like a golden canopy abiding in proximity. The sign of exhaustion, the holding of wind, is like the steam rising from freshly boiled milk, and then abides in proximity. The sign of appearance is like being unmoving as if abiding. The exhaustion of blue is like a flower without pistils and stems; the pistils and stems, and the other petals being different, this is the establishment of the fault of exhaustion. The sign of appearance is that it surpasses the mandala of exhaustion, appearing in the sky like a jewel wind banner. The same principle applies to the exhaustion of yellow and so on. The sign of exhaustion, the holding of consciousness, is that it becomes the same as a mandala born on the earth or a wall. The sign of appearance is like a dense gathering of appearances being extremely clear. The sign of exhaustion, the holding of space, is like the edge of a wall and so on, with a beginning and with holes, it arises but does not increase, and the sign of appearance is that it abides in proximity as if it has become the center of space, and if it arises, it will increase. Thus, here, the difference between the holding of exhaustion and the sign of appearance, whether done or not done, should be known. These nine signs also abide in comfort, abandoning the individual discriminations and characteristics of those with color, and focusing on the way of speaking about exhaustion on the earth, establishing the mind on tsampa, and becoming accustomed to the names of water, water, fire, fire, by the power of clarity, and the difference of becoming accustomed to them, it should be known as such. Having become accustomed to them in this way, just as before, the samadhi with limbs will arise. Whoever has mastered exhaustion on the earth, when they become endowed with clairvoyance, then they become one and become many, and appear and transform, transforming from space or water into earth, walking on two feet, and so on.

These make accomplishments such as these differences. By the power of water, one can submerge into the ground like a bird, emerge upwards, cause rain to fall, and transform land, mountains, etc., into rivers, oceans, etc., all of which can be truly accomplished. By the power of fire, one can emit thick smoke or cause fire to blaze intensely, cause fire rain to fall, completely absorb fire, be able to burn whatever one desires, manifest for the purpose of the divine eye clearly seeing things, and at the time of complete nirvana, burn the body with the fire element, etc., all of which can be accomplished. By the power of wind, one can move as fast as the wind and cause fierce wind and rain to fall, etc. By the power of blue, one can transform into a blue form and create darkness, etc. By the power of yellow, one can transform into a yellow form and newly transform, etc. By the power of red, one can transform into a red form, etc. By the power of white, one can transform into a white form, cause deep sleep, destroy darkness, and see things with the divine eye, etc. By the power of consciousness, one can make forms clear, make them dim, cause deep sleep, and make the eyes see things, etc. By the power of space, one can distinguish obscured things, transform into space within land, mountains, etc., and act, and pass through walls, etc., without any obstruction, all of which can be accomplished. If one continuously spreads extensively, there will be no exhaustion of the birth place. The spheres of mastery are eight: Because of perceiving internal form, one looks at external forms, both good and bad colors, and knows those forms by mastering them. One sees by mastering them. Thus, that which is perceived in this way is the first sphere of mastery. Some of the external forms that have become large are also the same. Just as one applies the perception of internal formlessness in the same way, and the perception of internal formlessness is blue, yellow,

Looking at blue and white, it becomes eight in this way. Among them, the so-called "blue" is a word of teaching. The so-called "blue color" is because it is the naturally occurring blue. The so-called "showing as blue" is because it is the blue produced by combination. The so-called "producing blue light" is because both radiate light and have bright colors. The so-called "suppressing" means controlling. The so-called "knowing" means through the path of tranquility. The so-called "suppressing and seeing" means through the path of insight. The so-called "perceiving in this way" means whether suppressed or not, because there is no perception of manifest victory over it. Setting two metaphors for one example is for the purpose of showing the meaning of colors that are naturally occurring and produced by combination. For example, the so-called "blue" is a word commonly shown for flowers and cloths. The so-called "blue color" refers to the case of flowers, because that is the naturally occurring blue. The so-called "showing as blue" refers to the case of cloth, because that is the blue produced by combination. The so-called "producing blue light" refers to the case of both flowers and cloths, because both have bright colors. Having done that, for example, showing with metaphors such as the Sarama flower or the Varanasi region's cloth, rich in color, blue color, is wisdom. Yellow is the Donga flower. Red is the Bandujivaka flower. White is the star Pava Sang or a cloth rich in color. By suppressing the object, therefore controlling it. It is the birth place of suppression. What is affliction? Relying on meditation, guarding the arising of others' afflictions, when abiding in correct accomplishment, what are the mind and mental factors that correspond to wisdom and meditation? Because afflictions such as desire existing in the continuum of others do not arise, therefore it is affliction. Among them, the difference that the Hearers do not have the Buddha's afflictions is
