Because one does not cling to anything, one is allowed to practice the profound Prajñāpāramitā. Why is that? Because dwelling in suchness, one does not cling to predictions and the like. Profound non-duality means that in the practice of ultimate truth, there is no clinging to duality. For bodhisattvas, there is no clinging to the perception of signs and signlessness. Profound skill in means lies in the fact that from the ten powers and so on, up to the eighteen unshared qualities of a Buddha, one completely accomplishes, does not accomplish, and prevents the attainment of unsurpassed perfect enlightenment through skillful means, preventing the clinging to anything as being either existent or non-existent. Why is that? Because through "etc.," dwelling in the knowledge that the self-nature of all dharmas is emptiness, one is skilled in placing beings who engage in opposing tendencies in their respective antidotes, thereby skillfully maturing beings. The bodhisattva learners who abide on the paths of seeing and meditation, the non-returning sangha, have been explained. Explanation of the Equality of Samsara and Nirvana Now, in order to explain the characteristics of the non-learning sangha, the equality of samsara and nirvana will be explained. What needs to be learned is only this much: for example, in order to abandon the conceptual thoughts of all defilements, and to abandon the conceptual thoughts of purification. By realizing the equality of these two, one becomes a non-learner, because thereafter there is no need to learn. Therefore, it is said: "Since all phenomena are like dreams, one does not discriminate between existence and peace." Hereafter, relying entirely on the occasions of incompatible and antidotal conceptual thoughts, in order to realize the equality of the two, considering samsara to be like a dream, one prevents the increase of the non-conceptual wisdom of daytime meditation, thereby preventing the increase of conceptual thoughts in dream meditation. Why is that? Because, Venerable Śāriputra, dreams and
