Because of this, if many meanings are examined, one example is enough. For the time being, the term "path" means that the earlier the word is mentioned, the later the example is to be guided. However, what is the meaning of mentioning the path at the end? It is to guide other examples in order to understand the happiness of those noble beings who abide in the Dharma of vision. Then why not say other examples? Because those who abide in the Dharma of vision are to understand the nature of the collection of various kinds of self-nature. If examples are given separately, how many examples should be given, and it will become unskilled in explanation, so the meaning of the language here is like this. Like the monks Shariputra and Maudgalyayana, completely, what is said is to be in accordance with the realization as it is said. What is the meaning of extensively saying that even a hundredth part cannot be approached? This shows the difference in the number of wisdoms of a Bodhisattva who meditates for one day, as well as the difference in power, the difference in lineage, the difference in cause, and the transcendence of the example itself. Among them, from "even a hundredth part cannot be approached" to "number" is the difference in number. Taking the number without distinction is to understand that taking the number is to distinguish it from other numbers. When hundreds of different numbers are mentioned, mentioning the number without distinction is to understand that it is only the difference in cause that includes the number. Saying কোটি etc. is to understand the order of many wisdoms. Part also, is the difference of power. Counting also, is the difference of lineage, because the lineage of Bodhisattva's wisdom is uncountable. Cause also, is the difference of action, because that wisdom will not even become the cause of this. The example cannot be approached, it is beyond the example. Also, which Bodhisattva is this based on here? It refers to the Bodhisattva whose wisdom can have such qualities by meditating for one day. What is the initial motivation

Or entering into conduct, or non-retrogression, or one lifetime away from Buddhahood. For the time being, the fourth is not the case, because it is said that the tenth bhumi is the Tathagata himself. What is the meaning? Because it abides near the deeds of the Tathagata, therefore it is called the Tathagata, not because it understands the mind of the Tathagata. The third is also not the case, because on the eighth bhumi, the intentional nirvana is prevented, so it is particularly superior to the knowledge of all the Shravakas. O son of the king, you should have faith, you should understand, if the Buddhas, the Bhagavat, did not cause that Bodhisattva to enter the door of direct realization, then this one would completely pass into nirvana at that time. What is said? And what is his nirvana? If it is said to be the complete nirvana of the Shravakas, then it is temporarily unreasonable, because the intention to desire the nirvana of the Shravakas is from the beginning of generating the mind and has been practiced for a long time. If it is said to be the nirvana of the Buddha, then it is also unreasonable to abandon it by cultivation, this should be forgotten. In this teaching, many kinds of complete nirvana are established, like this, for those who have attained the peak, explaining the roots of virtue is complete nirvana. Those who have attained forbearance are the complete nirvana of the evil destinies. Those who have attained dhyana are the complete nirvana of its limbs. Those who have entered the stream are the complete nirvana of the eighth existence. Those who come once are the complete nirvana of the second existence here. Those who do not return are the complete nirvana of the desire realm. The Arhats are the nirvana without remainder. Here also, the Sutra of the White Lotus of the Holy Dharma is taken as a measure, just as the establishment of the complete nirvana of the Shravakas spoken to the great Bodhisattvas such as the venerable Shariputra, it is the intentional nirvana.

It should be known that, because at that time, the work of benefiting beings will be cut off. For that very reason, the activities of all sentient beings will be interrupted, and therefore it is said that this is the complete nirvana here. It is not the second case either, because what is realized from those is particularly superior. Just as whatever wisdom and abandonment there is from entering the stage of application up to the solitary buddha is the patience of a bodhisattva, it will be explained in this way. Therefore, with the mind arising from the designation of the Dharma of non-regression, the bodhisattva who first generates the mind of enlightenment, it appears that the intention of generating the mind for the first time is manifested here. If that is so, Shariputra, what do you think? Starting from 'for whose benefit does the wisdom fruit of a bodhisattva's one-day meditation abide?', until 'all sentient beings attain complete nirvana, the six perfections are perfected, and the attainment, application, and realization encompassed by the Dharmakaya are perfectly attained,' these will not change, because these are not the fruits of one-day meditation wisdom, but the fruits of wisdom of countless eons. Here, also, by the example of the burning out of a butter lamp, it is explained that the fruit of the initial and final mind generation is the path. The instruction on practice has been explained. What is the instruction on truth? What is the instruction on the four noble truths? Among them, with regard to the truth of suffering, the Blessed One said, 'Shariputra, if a bodhisattva mahasattva diligently applies himself to the emptiness of form, it is called diligence,' and so on. With regard to the truth of origin, if one does not truly see form as being of the nature of arising or ceasing, if one does not truly see form as being of the nature of being completely defiled or purified, form is truly combined with feeling, and one does not truly see it as a substance, and so on. Why is that? Shariputra, because the emptiness of form is form.
