What is said is that doing so is creating obstacles. Holding reasons for turning away, it is certain not to enter, because not teaching is reasonable. I have not been taught here. Like this, due to the unteaching of not being taught, etc., there is no need to investigate, because it is reasonable, so without fully stating one's name, it is said that permission has not been obtained. Losing the cause is like the analogy of abandoning the root and grasping the leaves and branches, it is the meaning of completely losing the cause. Why is that? Because what is said is that realizing worldly and transworldly dharmas is certainly born from the Prajnaparamita. Losing from tasting deliciousness is like the analogy of a dog, what is said is the meaning of losing from tasting deliciousness. Losing from the supreme vehicle is like the analogy of seeking an elephant, while finding it, chasing after its footprints, what is said is the meaning of completely losing the Mahayana. Losing the purpose is like the analogy of the great ocean and the footprints of a cow being equal, what is said is the meaning of completely losing the purpose. Losing the connection between cause and effect is like the analogy of a craftsman wanting to build a victorious palace that exceeds the dimensions of the sun palace, in order to reverse the conformity of cause and effect, what is said is the meaning of losing its order. Losing from the unsurpassed place is like the analogy of a wheel-turning king's subordinate small countries being equal, what is said is the meaning of completely losing from the position of the Dharmakaya, which is precisely the work of the obstructing demon. The courage to discriminate objects arises because what is said is that these dharmas are non-existent and invisible in the Prajnaparamita, and many courage with these dharmas as objects will arise. Attachment to copying letters, attachment to non-things, attachment to the written letters being Prajnaparamita, attachment to there being no letters here, and contemplating objects, etc., obtaining, respect, tasting the flavor of verses, and seeking skillful means through non-paths, these seven obstacles are

Since the nature of all lands is not existent, because of no-thingness, therefore, by the very inability to write no-thingness, and by manifest attachment to no-thingness, and by manifest attachment to the written letters as being that, and by manifest attachment to that as having no letters, and by attending to objects and so forth, and by gain, and by respect, and by experiencing the taste of verses, and by abandoning the Perfection of Wisdom, seeking skillful means from the sutras approached by demons is what is said to be the work of demons. Being separated from desire and laziness is also the listener and the speaker, and by manifest connection, being mutually desirous and diligent themselves is what is said. Being separated from different objects of desire is also those themselves being mutually desirous, wanting to go to another place themselves is what is said. Making gain the main thing, and being separated from both great and small desires, is also those themselves mutually making gain and so forth the main thing and possessing small desires and so forth is what is said. Similarly, those possessing and not possessing the qualities of training, and those of the nature of neither virtue nor non-virtue, and giving, and being stingy, and giving, and not receiving, and mentioning the beginning, and understanding by means of manifold elaborations themselves, and manifestly knowing the Dharma such as sutras and not knowing themselves, and possessing and not possessing the six perfections, and being skillful in means and not skillful, and obtaining and not obtaining dharanis, and wanting and not wanting to transcribe letters, and being separated and not separated from desires and so forth, are called, in order, the listener and the speaker, and because of manifest connection, therefore, those eleven separations should be said to be eleven obstacles. As it is said, others, those themselves, starting from possessing and not possessing the qualities of training, and again those themselves mutually separated and not separated from desires and so forth, from not possessing the assembly should be known as the work of demons, whatever is said in between. Turning away from the realm of evil destinies is: if some others come and speak unfavorably of hell and so forth
