Having attained the irreversible stage, one will surely manifest and not be separated from it, and will be close to manifesting perfect enlightenment, and will quickly manifest perfect enlightenment. Thereafter, accomplishing the benefit of others, without increase or decrease, being free from all concepts such as Dharma or non-Dharma, with discrimination, bestowing precious fruits, attaining the ultimate of supreme purity, this is because one has previously manifestly strived for years, completely subduing the mind's winds. The practice has been explained. Explanation of the Benefits of Practice: Because its benefits are to be proclaimed, by subduing the power of demons, etc., there are fourteen kinds of merits. Thus it is said. Among them, the merit of subduing the power of demons is that even if one has begun to cut off demons, the Buddhas of the ten directions of the world will remember and embrace them, which is the cause of subduing the power of demons. Why is that? Shariputra, this is the nature of Dharma. Thus it is said according to the rationality of their remembrance. The merit of the Buddhas remembering and knowing is that they remember and embrace those Bodhisattvas, from "all those should also be known as embraced by the Buddhas," the Dharma speaker generates increasing faith due to remembrance and knowledge, and because there is no doubt, it is known that demons cannot find an opportunity, and it is proclaimed with such meaning. The merit of the Buddhas manifesting is as it is said, "Those who know with wisdom, those who see with the eyes of flesh." The merit of approaching perfect enlightenment is as it is said, "Those Mahayana practitioners should know that we have approached unsurpassed perfect enlightenment." The merit of great meaning, etc., is as it is said, "Even merely writing it in a book, holding it will become of great meaning, great benefit, great fruit, and great maturation." This is because one does not separate from the Buddhas and tends towards happy migrations.

And, truly and completely attaining Buddhahood, and, even after Nirvana, being empowered to engage in the benefit of others, in order, this is explained as four words. Here, because it matures over a long time, it should be regarded as "Vipāka" (异熟, result of karma). The merit of examining the place is: from the southern lineage to the northern lineage, mentioning Bartani and others, examining the place and so on, for the Dharma speaker to dispel doubts about the Buddha's intention, this is the meaning of what was said. All the merits of being without outflows, the merit of completeness is: those who possess humans and self, etc., completely perfecting all white dharmas such as the six perfections, this is the meaning of what was said. The merit of the speaker is: I and all the Buddhas also speak to them words possessing all-knowingness, this is the meaning of what was said earlier as the speaker. The unbreakable merit is: because it is also the Dharma itself, even the gods of Mara and Mara's retinue cannot turn it away from Bodhi, this is the meaning of what was said. The merit of generating uncommon roots of virtue is: also obtaining joy, faith, and great delight, this is the cause of many beings generating roots of virtue, this is the meaning of what was said. Among them, joy refers to transcending the mundane Dharma. Faith refers to relying on the Buddha, Dharma, and Sangha. Delight refers to the mind engaging in virtuous Dharma, this is scripture. The merit of accomplishing the vowed meaning as it is: in front of all the Buddhas, I will lead hundreds of thousands of beings towards Bodhi, this is the joyful speech spoken after the Buddha, fulfilling its meaning as it is, this is the meaning of what was said. The merit of completely holding vast fruits is: they, with great faith, will completely hold the vast fruits of karma, this is the meaning of what was said. The merit of accomplishing the benefit of sentient beings is: the inner and outer fruits of that are sentient beings.

It is said that in order to give to all, and especially to serve in other Buddha-fields that have become Buddhas before, to accomplish the benefit of sentient beings from higher to higher. Not obtaining the Prajñāpāramitā and not being complete, contrary to obtaining, the merit of complete attainment, even some of those who seek, there are those who obtain and do not obtain, and complete attainment, etc. Śāriputra, that will become like this. Thus, those who are well combined without interruption by the reason of Dharma-nature, even if they follow rebirth, will surely obtain it, therefore, for the unsurpassed perfect complete enlightenment, it is said. The benefits of combination have been stated. Explanation of the obstacles to combination. In order to state its obstacles, thus, the faults are included in forty groups, it must be understood as six, as it is said, the word is called forty-six. Among them, obtaining with great difficulty is the cause of perfecting the Prajñāpāramitā, great difficulty, etc. Arrogance arises with a long time, as it is said. The very quick rise of arrogance is that in the past, in the case of practicing the Prajñāpāramitā, the quick rise of arrogance will become an obstacle to speech, as it is said. There are three kinds of transformations of the bad state of the body, namely yawning, agitation, and mutual reliance and questioning, as it is said, that is the obstacle of the transformation of the body. Reliance means making fun of other people's bodies by oneself or in connection with the body. There are three kinds of bad states of mind, namely, mental distraction, and asking and listening with mutual discriminating consciousness, and getting up and leaving with the thought that I have not tasted this taste, as it is said, that is the obstacle of the mind. Having mutual discriminating consciousness refers to the discriminating consciousness of things that become joyful by relying on each other. Recitation, etc., arising from irrational attention, is explained by the transformation of the body, and holding, etc., by the transformation of the mind.
