Because not being the doer itself is the antidote to clinging to the doer. In the aspect of no knower, because there is no object of the knower. This is said to be the aspect of reason, complete understanding is reason, because the path is the antidote to understanding the aspect of the knower. In the aspect of no distraction, because there is no object of death and birth, this is said to be the aspect of accomplishment, because the path is the antidote to abandoning and accepting inferior and superior states, individual understanding is accomplishment, in this way. In the aspect of no taming, because all phenomena are naturally untamable, this is said to be the aspect of certainty, because all phenomena, which are naturally empty, are not certain to tame afflictions. The antidote to the obscuration of knowledge, the path, is of two types: the path of meditation with outflows and the path of seeing without outflows. For what reason is the path of meditation taught with five aspects? In the aspect of a dream, because seeing a dream has no object. In the aspect of an echo, because speaking of an echo has no object. In the aspect of an eye disease, because an image has no object. In the aspect of a mirage, because flowing water has no object. In the aspect of an illusion, because a sign has no object. This is because, in this way, in order, all phenomena are without essence, unborn, unceasing, primordially peaceful, and naturally in nirvana. These five stages of the path of meditation with outflows are in accordance with the examples of dreams and so on. The path of seeing, the antidote to the obscuration of knowledge, is thoroughly distinguished by abandoning six kinds of conceptualization. What are the six kinds? What is said by abandoning the conceptualization of universal defilement is: In the aspect of no universal defilement, because no universal defilement has no object. This is said to be. What is said by abandoning the conceptualization of purification is: In the aspect of no purification, the afflictions of

It is said that it is because there are no sentient beings. What is said by abandoning the conceptualization of the habitual tendencies of afflictions is: It is said that it is because of aiming at the sky with the aspect of being without attachment. What is said by completely abandoning the proliferation of the nature of perception such as form is: It is said that it is because of completely destroying all proliferations with the aspect of being without proliferation. What is said by abandoning the arrogance of the nature of experiencing the taste of one's own realization is: It is said that it is because of completely destroying all arrogance with the aspect of being without arrogance. What is said by abandoning the conceptualization of complete deterioration is: It is said that it is because of the very fact that the Well-Gone One abides in the realm of Dharma with the aspect of being unwavering. The aspect of all-knowingness has been explained. Now, the aspect of the knowledge of the path is to be stated. In this regard, the order of the truths should be observed as they are. What is as it is? From the perspective of universal affliction and purification, the truths of origin and path are the cause, and the truths of suffering and cessation are the result. Because of what? Cause, path, and suffering, Cessation has four orders. Those eight and seven, Five and sixteen are proclaimed. Thus it is proclaimed, aspect, is a general term. Among them, the cause is desire, and craving with attachment and joy is also the cause of arising. Because of what? What is said as the antidote to desire is: It is said that it is because of the absence of an object of attachment with the aspect of being free from attachment. Because the thought of an object to be done is thought, therefore, in the case of desire, attachment is the main thing, so it is shown that without it, the other is also not there. What is said as the antidote to attachment is: It is said that it is because of the absence of conceptualization of all dharmas with the aspect of being without a place. Considering that there is no attachment to dharmas, in the case of attachment, because it is the cause of actual entry, desire is the main thing, so it is shown that without it, the other is also not there. These are things that follow each other, similar.
