That is what was said in between. The karma that is similar to being impoverished by the Dharma is: Subhuti, furthermore, any son or daughter of a noble family of the Bodhisattva vehicle, for as long as they cultivate the Prajnaparamita, and even those who cultivate it in the manner of an object, starting from "there is," intensely, continuously, and for a long time, the obscuration of karma that ripens into suffering on one's own great body is shown, that is what was said. Among them, intense is due to excess. Continuous is due to constancy. Suffering is due to incompatibility, and showing these is for the purpose of turning sentient beings away from them. Furthermore, regarding the four causes of this karmic obscuration, it is considered that: the blessing of the demon, fondness for the profound Dharma, attachment to the aggregates and so on, and being completely controlled by evil friends are its causes. That is what was said. The three causes for attaining complete purity and the opposite causes have been explained. From that, for the time being, purity is generally stated, and then the special meaning will be explained. Among them, the general aspect of purity is this: Fruit is pure, form and so on, is purity itself, for what reason? Those two are not different, they are called pure because they are indivisible. That is what was said, Subhuti, whatever is the purity of form, that is the purity of the fruit itself, from the fact that those two are inseparable, they are inseparable and indivisible, and so on, that is what was said. Among them, whatever is the purity of form, that is the purity of the fruit itself, this means that whatever is the fruit of the ascetic of the noble person, it is completely separated because it is free from attachment to form and so on as self. Because it is non-dual and indivisible, the meaning of non-duality is because there is no duality between the grasper and the grasped. Indivisible means that the implicit intention cannot be divided. Because it is inseparable and indivisible.

As for "taste," the distinction lies in its possession of various characteristics. Severing means differentiating each branch separately. Thus, having completed the general explanation of purification, the distinction is then stated: For the sake of eliminating the afflictions and knowable obscurations, as well as the faults of the three, the purification of the Shravakas, Pratyekabuddhas, and Bodhisattvas, and the utmost purification of the Buddhas. This is what is said. Among these, the purification of the afflictive obscurations of the Shravakas refers to the purification of desire, hatred, and ignorance, as well as the purification of form, etc. These are non-dual and indivisible, therefore they are indistinguishable and inseparable. Similarly, the purification of self, sentient beings, and life, etc., as well as the purification of form, etc., are what are spoken of. The partial purification of the obscuration of knowledge of the Pratyekabuddhas refers to Subhuti, furthermore, whatever is the purification of form is the purification of result. Whatever is the purification of result is the purification of the Prajnaparamita, starting from here, with the purification of ignorance, actions are purified, etc., are what are spoken of. The purification of the three vehicles of the Bodhisattvas refers to Subhuti, furthermore, whatever is the purification of the Dana Paramita is the Shila Paramita, starting from here, the purification of the Buddha Dharma and the Sarvakarajnata, these are non-dual, etc., are what are spoken of. Utmost purification belongs to the perfectly enlightened Buddhas. Among these, the limit is a part. It is of two kinds, the limit of things and the limit of time. Among these, because of transcending the limit of things by abandoning the obscuration of knowledge, and because of constantly attaining the Dharmakaya, transcending the limit of time. This is explained by "transcending the limit" and "utterly exceeding the limit." Transcending the limit refers to the Dharmadhatu, and because it exists therein, it is utmost. This also refers to the nine grounds encompassed by the desire realm, the form realm, and the formless realm, for these grounds, discriminating in their respective ways, such as the great of the great, etc., are the nine antidotes.

Therefore, regarding the path of cultivation, it is divided into nine types, such as the small of the small. Precisely because of this, having cultivated as it is and as many as there are, in order to show that there is no proximate cause for the path of cultivation to be something to be done, "extremely" is said. It is said like this: The nine grounds are great, the great and so on are defilements, the antidote is the small of the small, and the path of the etceteras is pure. It is said like this. Among them, the aspect of the small of the small is: Subhuti, moreover, whatever is the utterly pure Perfection of Wisdom, that is the utterly pure form. Whatever is the utterly pure form, that is... up to the utterly pure All-Aspects-of-Knowledge. Similarly, whatever is the utterly pure Perfection of Concentration, that is... and so on, as it is said. The medium of the small is: Subhuti, whatever is the utterly pure emptiness of the interior, that is the utterly pure form, and so on, as it is said. The great of the small is: Subhuti, moreover, whatever is the utterly pure conditioned phenomena, that is the utterly pure unconditioned phenomena. Whatever is the utterly pure unconditioned phenomena, that is the utterly pure past, and so on, as it is said. The small of the medium is: Bhagavan, this utterly pure is profound, and so on. Shariputra, because of the utterly pure form, the utterly pure is profound.
