Thus, whatever is said to be dedicated is the dedication of the object of meritorious deeds as it is. The dedication with skillful means is: here, the great Bodhisattva, whatever is said about learning those skillful means, etc. The dedication without characteristics is: with the example of food mixed with poison, the dedication by those with the perception of characteristics is, whatever is said about being poisonous, thorny, etc. The dedication approved by the Buddha is: just as those Buddhas, Bhagavat, know with the unsurpassed wisdom of the Buddha, so dedicate, etc., whatever is said. The dedication that does not belong to the three realms is: furthermore, those roots of virtue should be dedicated in this way, such as not belonging to the category of the form and other three realms, etc., whatever is said. The dedication that produces great merit also has three types of distinctions: small, medium, and large. Among them, the small one starts from the path of the ten virtuous actions, up to the five supernormal powers, abiding in worldly realization, dedicating with the example of sentient beings in the three thousand great thousand worlds, this merit increases the most, etc., whatever is said. The medium one is, again, only those who constantly enter the stream, taking the merit of honoring and offering to those who have become Arhats as an example, this merit is as mentioned before. The great one is, only those sentient beings abiding in the unsurpassed perfect complete enlightenment, taking the merit of each sentient being in the ten directions of the world offering as an example, the merit of dedicating without focus is like the former. Why is that? Because all of them are without focus, etc., whatever is said. The contemplation of dedication has been explained. Explanation of the contemplation of rejoicing. After being free in the contemplation of rejoicing, with skillful means and without focus, rejoice in the roots of virtue, the contemplation of rejoicing.

Here, meditation is spoken of. Thus it was said, beginning with "How does rejoicing increase?" up to what was said between "Skillfully, in a non-attached manner, those roots of virtue should be completely dedicated to unsurpassed, perfectly complete enlightenment." Therein, with faith and attention, like accumulating gold from its source, merit is manifestly accumulated. With the attention of dedication, like a goldsmith making ornaments, it is made a limb of perfectly complete enlightenment. With the attention of rejoicing, one obtains equality in the meritorious deeds of oneself and others. The path of contaminated meditation has been explained. Explanation of the characteristics of Abhisamaya (Realization). The uncontaminated should be spoken of. Also, from that, considering the application of the characteristics of Abhisamaya: Its very nature is supreme, It does not manifestly gather in all. Establishing all dharmas without characteristics, Is indeed a great meaning. Thus it was said. Therein, the very nature is: "Bhagavan, the Prajnaparamita is extremely pure, therefore it appears." Starting from "Thus" up to what was said between "Excellent, it is good to truly show the very nature of all dharmas," because that application clarifies that it is the very nature of wisdom. The supreme is: with the example of many blind people, it is explained that without the Prajnaparamita, the five perfections cannot enter the path of understanding, and it obstructs the ability to go to the great city of omniscience. Not manifestly gathering in all dharmas is: from "Because form is not manifestly realized" up to what was said between "Because all dharmas are without accumulation, one should manifestly realize the Prajnaparamita." Establishing Abhisamaya with all dharmas without characteristics is: because one does not establish anything for virtuous dharmas up to Nirvana, therefore it enters the ranks of the Prajnaparamita. Why is that?

That is because all dharmas abide in the aspect of being without an object of focus, just as names and characteristics are established. Among them, name is established as a name. Characteristic is the cause by which it enters. Establishment is because of non-establishment, being far removed from the consciousness of duality, from form up to all-knowingness, nothing is perceived, therefore it is obtained separately by that. The great meaning is that from form up to all-knowingness, preventing making it big or small, starting from here. Because the Buddha is endowed with power, one should know that the Prajnaparamita is endowed with power, and because the Buddha himself accomplishes the great meaning, therefore it is the great Paramita. Manifest accomplishment has been described completely. Explanation of Utter Purity Now, utter purity should be explained. Briefly, the cause of this is said to be threefold, and the opposing cause should also be said to be fourfold, that is, like this: Relying on the Buddha and giving, etc., and whatever is skillful in means, these are the causes. The causes of being deficient in Dharma are: being oppressed by the density of demons, and not believing in the profound Dharma, and manifest attachment to the aggregates, etc., and being completely seized by evil friends. Thus it is said. Among them, relying on the Buddha is this: Shariputra, the great Bodhisattva, having attended and honored immeasurable and countless Tathagatas, Arhats, Perfectly Awakened Buddhas of the ten directions of the world, came here, and so on. Truly accomplishing generosity and other perfections is this: This great Bodhisattva has practiced generosity and other perfections for countless billions of eons, and so on. Skillful means is this: Subhuti, this should be distinguished and prophesied, starting from here, skillful means is the cause for connecting to the Prajnaparamita.
