What is meant by "magical feet"? It refers to the synonym for "the foot of magic, which is a branch." The so-called "cultivation" is to make meditation a habit, which is to expand the union. So, is the union capable? Or has the union become stable? Or is it not mixed with the assembly of the unwholesome? According to the Abhidharma masters, there are also four types of meditation: small, medium, and large, and the one that is free from artificiality, has results, and is complete in meaning. That is the fruit of dwelling in bliss in this very life. Thus, there are four types, which is the view of other schools. Complete meditation is to completely subdue the body through meditation. Meditation is to definitely subdue discipline. Meditation is to eliminate the harm of the mind. Meditation is to make wisdom stable. The so-called "dwelling in truth" refers to having the first dhyana, because that itself is completely separated from desire and so on. The so-called "dwelling in detachment" refers to having the second dhyana, because that itself is separated from the desire of conceptualization and so on. The so-called "dwelling in cessation" refers to having the third dhyana, because the detachment from joy is the cessation there. The so-called "completely abandoning and transforming" refers to having the fourth dhyana and the formless attainments, because just as the clear abandonment that precedes the knowledge that has not abandoned existence is the complete abandonment. Furthermore, the complete destruction of habits is tranquility. Separation from all arising is detachment. The complete cutting off of all union is cessation. The complete abandonment of all appropriation is complete abandonment. Also, the Abhidharma masters say that tranquility is tranquility from the realm. Detachment is separation from the desire of afflictions. Cessation is the cessation of karma. Complete abandonment is the abandonment of things, and all these words are expressing nirvana. Furthermore, the antidote to the four types of conceptualization of the grasper and the grasped, which are the four paths of seeing, correspond respectively to the four sentences beginning with dwelling in tranquility.

This should be done. Among them, the first antidote to the conceptualization of what is taken is stillness, because it is still by abandoning all the afflictive aspects from the side of purification. The second antidote to the conceptualization of what is taken is detachment from desire, because it is detachment from desire due to its desire for virtuous dharmas. The first antidote to the conceptualization of what is grasped is cessation, because it ceases all grasping at self, autonomy, etc., which means abandonment. The second antidote to the conceptualization of what is grasped is complete abandonment, because it abandons by fully understanding the various reasons for falsely imputing the aggregates, etc., as self. The object and the basis for generating strength are the abodes. Complete abandonment is casting away. Complete transformation is ultimate and thorough. Faith, diligence, mindfulness, samadhi, and wisdom, because they have the meaning of dominion, are the faculties. They themselves, because they have the meaning of invincibility, are the powers. Mindfulness and discrimination of dharmas, diligence, joy, pliancy, samadhi, and equanimity, because they are limbs of the path of seeing, are the limbs of perfect enlightenment. Right view, right thought, right speech, right action, right livelihood, right effort, right mindfulness, and right samadhi, because they have the meaning of going to the city of nirvana, are the eightfold noble path. Emptiness, signlessness, and wishlessness, because they have the meaning of gathering the four noble truths, are the doors of liberation. Suffering, arising, cessation, and path, as well as exhaustion, non-arising, dharma, subsequent realization, conventional, complete familiarity, and knowledge according to sound, because they have the meaning of pervading all that is to be known, are the knowledges. One should know all that is not known, as well as all knowledge and the faculties that protect all knowledge, because they have the meaning of gathering the path of seeing, the path of cultivation, and the path of no more learning.
