It is discernment, the path of seeing that is the antidote to the four kinds of conceptualization of what is grasped and the grasper. Its part, that which is similar because it benefits by producing only one aspect, is that which is similar to the part of discernment. The similar parts of discernment have been explained. Explanation of the Basis of Accomplishment The basis of accomplishment is to be explained, which is the meaning of the term "lineage." It transforms into thirteen kinds through the distinctions of the different stages of the dharma of accomplishment. How is that? As it is said, "There are six dharmas of realization." What are those? It will be explained later that the basis is called lineage. For example, the four similar parts of discernment, as well as the paths of seeing and meditation. Because from the arising of the mind, the similar parts of discernment, and the paths of seeing and meditation are called Bodhisattvas. World-Honored One, what is the meaning of the word Bodhisattva? Thus asked, it is said that the basis of that and that dharma of realization is what. As it is said: Subhuti, the meaning of the word Bodhisattva is the meaning of no word. Why is that? Because enlightenment is neither arising, nor existing, nor an object. This explains that the lineage of the nature of the six sense bases, by the reason that the basis of enlightenment is not a substance, is the cause for the application of the term Bodhisattva, but it is not the meaning of the word that has become a real thing. Among them, the basis of the warmth position is: Subhuti, for example, just as there are no bird tracks in the sky, and dreams, illusions, mirages, echoes, cataracts, reflections, cities of gandharvas, and emanations have no place, it is taught with the example of having no object. The meaning of those nine examples is explained as follows: one should conform to the distinctions of what is said in nine ways, which is the first part that is similar to discernment and the first conceptualization of what is grasped that is completely in accordance with it. In order to abandon extensive treatises, we have not elaborated. Similarly, discernment

Furthermore, correspondingly, regarding the paths of seeing and meditation, one should also discern their nature as it is, and sequentially state the differences in the meaning of the metaphors. The support that has reached the peak is spoken of with the metaphor of the absence of a place for the ultimate limit of reality, suchness, unerring suchness, non-other suchness, the nature of phenomena, the realm of phenomena, the abiding nature of phenomena, the definitive nature of phenomena, the nature of truth, and the absence of an object of focus. The support that has become tolerant is spoken of with the metaphor of the absence and non-apprehension of the form, feeling, perception, mental formations, and consciousness of a magical person, as well as the meaning of the words 'eye' and so on, and the meaning of the words 'form' and so on, and the meaning of the words 'eye and form' and so on. The support of the eye of Dharma is spoken of with the metaphor of the absence and non-apprehension of the meaning of the words used in the practice of emptiness and so on within a magical person, as well as the perfections and so on, the factors of enlightenment and so on, the powers and so on, the aggregates and so on, the elements and so on, the sources and so on, the dependent origination and so on, the meditations and the formless absorptions. The support of the path of seeing is spoken of with the metaphor of the absence and non-apprehension of the meaning of the words of the aggregates such as the form of the Tathagata, the Arhat, the perfectly complete Buddha, as well as the meaning of the words from the eye to the mind, as well as the meaning of the words from emptiness and so on within to the powers and so on, the place of the unconditioned realm in the conditioned realm, and the place of the conditioned realm in the unconditioned realm, without any trace. The support of the path of meditation is spoken of with the metaphor of the absence and non-apprehension of the meaning of the words 'unborn,' 'unceasing,' 'uncontaminated,' 'unpurified,' 'unmanifest,' 'unarisen,' and 'unfocused.' Why is that?

Then, starting from "Rabjor, the birth of form has no meaning of words," the birth, cessation, manifestation, arising, object, all defilements, the meaning of the words of the unmixed Dharma of the Buddhas, and their very solitude, the state of no characteristics, and also the aspects of enlightenment, self and life, etc., the extremely pure absence of place, and the practice of the three extremely pure aspects, it is said that it is for the purpose of knowing the repeated habituation. In the phrase "antidote and abandonment," what is the basis of the two, antidote and abandonment? The answer is: it is lineage. This is a timely statement. Among them, the basis of the antidote is revealed by the example of the light of the rising sun without a place and invisible. The basis of abandoning the unfavorable side is revealed by the example of the absence of a place for action and the absence of following sight when the fire of the eon burns, with the meaning of abandoning the connection of habits. In the phrase "they completely rely on," whatever antidote and abandonment of the unfavorable side are, they are the basis of complete reliance, and should be followed accordingly. Among them, the basis of abandoning the conceptualization of the antidote and the unfavorable side is this: the aggregates of the discipline, samadhi, wisdom, liberation, and the wisdom of liberation of the Tathagata Arhat Samyaksambuddha, etc., in the example of the absence of a place and the absence of close sight of the unfavorable side of each of them, are what is said by the meaning of abandoning the obscuration of knowledge. In the phrase "wisdom with great compassion," the basis of wisdom and great compassion is this: with wisdom and great compassion burning and desire, etc., until samsara is empty, abiding in the Dharma nature of complete nirvana, what is said by the meaning of knowing not to dwell on either side. In the phrase "uncommonness of disciples," the basis of uncommon qualities is this: Shravakas and others are like constellations, like mani jewels, etc.
