Everything is just like that. It is only the second, not the first, just as the conceptualization of what is grasped depends on the object of complete purification. The characteristics of being perfectly endowed have been explained. As it is said, regarding the classification of conceptualizations, the verses in this chapter are: By the basis and its antidote, the conceptualization of what is grasped is of two kinds. Due to the differences of ignorance and aggregates, etc., they are each of nine kinds. Holding onto objects and dependent designations, it is also considered to be of two kinds. Similarly, the nature of self-governance, self, etc., and the aggregates, etc., are the basis. That is it. Skillful means and virtuous friends are the complete support of Bodhisattvas. As it is said, taking skillful means as the main point, starting from the causes of not being discouraged and not being alarmed, etc., with the intention of possessing all-knowingness, for the aggregates such as form, individually contemplating impermanence, suffering, emptiness, selflessness, peace, and solitude, without conceptualizing them separately, and with the intention of not focusing on them, possessing all-knowingness, teaching the Dharma of impermanence, etc., to them, is the perfection of generosity. Contemplating impermanence, etc., on them, without clinging to the supreme, is the perfection of discipline. Similarly, for the six elements such as the earth element, enduring impermanence, etc., and contemplating them, is the perfection of patience. For the aggregates, etc., individually contemplating impermanence, etc., and not focusing on them, possessing all-knowingness, not abandoning them, is the perfection of diligence. Not distinguishing the occasion of intention corresponding to the lesser vehicle is the perfection of meditation. The aggregates, etc., up to the unmixed Dharma of the Buddhas, emptiness by their emptiness, preventing, and those and their emptiness mutually knowing their nature, is the perfection of wisdom. Possessing all-knowingness,

Because it is free from attention, from the perfection to, and even between the Buddha's unshared dharmas, one practices, and being arrogant with regard to this, panic and so on will change, therefore, in order to explain that skillful means are the characteristics of skillful means, it is said in this way. Skillful means have been explained. The complete acceptance by a virtuous friend is that from the aggregates and so on to the unshared dharmas, all are shown as impermanent and so on, and the roots of virtue are completely dedicated to the unsurpassed perfect enlightenment, these are the true virtuous friends. In order to be separated from the perfections, it is said to be the chanting and singing composed by those who are fond of chanting and singing, and after appearing in the image of the Buddha, saying "What is the use of you practicing Prajnaparamita?" and so on, one's own actions, and the sutras corresponding to the Shravakas and Pratyekabuddhas, and saying "You don't even have a little Bodhicitta" and so on, this is showing deception. From the birthplaces of the eye and so on, to the unshared dharmas of the Buddha, all are empty of self and what belongs to self, then what is the use of attaining unsurpassed perfect enlightenment and becoming a Buddha? Similarly, for the appearance of Pratyekabuddhas, Shravakas, Khenpos, Acharyas, Brahmacharis, and so on, it should also be said in this way. One who shows deception in this way is the dharma of Mara, and for one who shows deception, not showing the Bodhisattva that "these are the deeds of Mara," know that this is a bad friend, and completely abandon him. In order to explain the characteristics of a virtuous friend, by showing the characteristics of a bad friend, it is said in this way. The intermediate verse of complete acceptance is: The mind does not turn back, etc., no self-nature, etc., do, abandoning its unfavorable qualities, is all kinds of complete acceptance. It is said in this way. Those that are in accordance with the definitive division are called division, because division is division, so it divides without dividing.
