It should be known that the four words of teaching, namely, "arising, non-separation, proximity, manifestation, and quick attainment of samadhi," sequentially show the meaning of the four parts of the decisive part. The summary of the detailed explanation of the differences in the object of this, etc., is the seventh chapter of verses. Objects such as impermanence are based on reality. Being able to prevent manifestations of attachment, etc., is the cause of attaining the three vehicles. Forms, etc., increase and decrease, are separate from location, and have no location, no designation, and no expression. Those forms, etc., that do not abide, have no self-nature in their own nature. Their one nature is one, and they do not abide in impermanence, etc. They are empty of their own nature, and their one nature is one. What is it that does not grasp phenomena, and because they do not see them as signs, everything is without an object, which is understood by wisdom. The nature of form, etc., is without self-nature, and that is the nature of non-existence. They are unborn and without departure, pure and without characteristics. Not relying on their signs, there is no thought of desire or non-desire. The function of that samadhi is the exhaustion of prophecy and pride. The nature of the three is one, and samadhi does not discriminate. Thus, those similar to the decisive part are small, medium, and large. The decisive part and, the object of those similar, the difference between the appearance and the nature of the cause, and the difference between small, medium, and large have been explained. Complete grasping will be explained later. Now, what is in accordance with discrimination and truth will be explained. Among them, the unfavorable aspects of the path of seeing are the four kinds of discrimination. How are they? There are two kinds of object-grasping discrimination, namely, relying on mere things and relying on the antidote. Saying "mere" is for the purpose of clarifying the difference. There are two kinds of subject-grasping discrimination, namely, relying on the real existence of a person and relying on the imputed existence of a person. Among them, the first and second, which correspond to the decisive part, become the two kinds of object-grasping discrimination in order, and the third and fourth are also the subject-grasping.
