The hair curls to the right, and because he possesses a gathering of disciples who are beautiful in every way, he is beautiful in every way. Because his mind is supremely pure, all his actions are pure. Because he is free from teaching black Dharma and discipline, his body is without moles or blemishes. Because he teaches the Dharma that enables one to attain a body as light as cotton, his hands are as soft as cotton. Because he treats his own beings and the great mass of ordinary people equally, he has attained great asceticism, so the lines on his hands are radiant. Because he abides in supreme depth and stability, the lines on his hands are deep. Because he teaches the Dharma that can endure the vastness, the lines on his hands are long. Because he establishes the basis of training that is not exceedingly great, his face is not very long. Because he shows all the worlds to be like reflections, the reflection of form appears on his face. Because he subdues by putting gentleness first, his tongue is supple. Because he possesses a collection of subtle qualities, his tongue is thin. Because he subdues passionate childish beings with Dharma that is difficult to fathom, his tongue is red. Because he has no arrogance towards the roar of elephants and the sound of dragons, he possesses the voice of elephants and dragons. Because it is pleasant, soft, and gentle, he possesses disciples who are eloquent, so his speech is pleasant, soft, and gentle. Because he restrains actions in all existences, his teeth are rounded. Because he is skilled at subduing beings with sharpness, his teeth are sharp. Because the Dharma and discipline are supremely white, his teeth are white. Because he has entered the equal part of the earth, his teeth are even. Because he gradually teaches realization, his teeth gradually become thinner. Because he dwells on the high mountain of wisdom, his nose is high. Because the beings to be tamed are pure and trusting, his nose is clean. Because he possesses the supremely vast Dharma of the Buddhas, his eyes are wide. Because he has accumulated a multitude of sentient beings, his eyelashes are thick. Because like gods, asuras, and young humans, his white and black eyes are distinct and like the petals of a lotus flower, he is praised by the supreme ones, so his eyes are distinct in black and white and like the petals of a lotus flower. The hairs of the eyebrows are even, and because the root of virtue is closely moistened, the beings whose minds are moistened are subdued, so the eyebrows are moist. Because he subdues the minds of sentient beings without impairment, his auditory organ is unimpaired. Because he has completely abandoned all that should be seen, his forehead is perfectly open. Because he has completely vanquished the ascetics, Brahmins, and opponents, the space of his forehead is wide. Because he has completely fulfilled the supreme aspirations, the best of his limbs are extremely full. Because he has completely turned back the joy of the bees of objects, his hair is as black as bees. Because he has abandoned the latent tendencies to be abandoned by seeing and meditating, his hair is thick. Because he has directly known the essence of the teachings with gentle intelligence, his hair is soft. Because he possesses a mind that is always undisturbed, his hair is not tangled. Because he possesses speech that is always not coarse, his hair is not disheveled. Because the flowers of the limbs of enlightenment harmonize beings with their fragrant scent, his hair is fragrant. The palms of his hands and soles of his feet are adorned with swastikas, auspicious knots, and endless knots. To summarize the prose of the sutra, this verse was composed: The nails of the Buddha are the color of copper, the color is moist and high, and all the fingers are round and full, slender with grace, the veins are invisible, without knots. The ankles are invisible, the feet are even, like a lion, elephant, and bird, he walks with a supreme gait, to the right, walking gracefully, upright and steady.
