When separated from the condensed Perfection of Wisdom, it is gathered by immeasurable, unmeasurable, and boundless merit, with the meaning of perfecting the three examples. What is the difference between immeasurable and so on? What is the distinction? This is a question asked to clearly indicate their respective characteristics. Regarding the nature of the realms of samsara, which are measurable and immeasurable, and nirvana, by knowing that they are equal through being neither measurable nor immeasurable, it is immeasurable because of knowing this meaning. Regarding time, because no measure is observed, it is boundless because of knowing it through boundlessness, it is boundless because of knowing the meaning of its unconditioned nature. Because it cannot be measured, it is boundless because of knowing that one obtains power over the realm of omniscience, it is boundless because of knowing this meaning. Relying on the nature of the essence of the characteristics of immeasurable and so on, all phenomena are immeasurable, unmeasurable, and boundless because of emptiness, thus it is said. If that is the case, the teachings of immeasurable and so on are not expressed in the ultimate sense. The nature of emptiness, the ultimate truth, is not different even when expressed with different expressions, this is the thought here. In conventional truth, the Buddhas delight in those with compassion as a common cause. As it is said: Because no difference is observed in letters and meanings, it is not to be expressed or counted, from there to nirvana, this is showing the common cause of the Tathagata's compassion, thus it is said. If these are showing the common cause of the Tathagata's compassion, then all of these must become the objects of everything. The answer is: As I understand it, these words of the Blessed One are the meaning of showing the common cause of the Tathagata's compassion, the Tathagata relies on all phenomena to fully awaken to perfect enlightenment in all aspects, all phenomena

It is called "unspeakable." Why? Because the emptiness of those things cannot be spoken, so it is said. If things are unspeakable, then there can be no decrease or increase. By the path called "meditation," what decreases and what is gained? What decreases are the nine kinds of discriminations, such as the great of the great, as spoken of. What is gained are the nine aspects of the path, such as the small of the small, as spoken of. This is diligence. Thus, because the decrease and increase of the unspeakable seed are prevented, from the perfections to the unmixed qualities of the Buddha, by preventing decrease and increase, one will not have the opportunity to perfectly awaken to omniscience, so it is said. The answer to this is: Just as enlightenment is, so this accomplishes the desired meaning. This is another name for the path of meditation. Thus, by preventing the increase of clinging to all realized phenomena, just as unsurpassed perfect enlightenment is, so it is said that one who possesses dedication, such as mindfulness, is one who possesses opportunity. What is enlightenment like? It is said: Enlightenment is the nature of suchness, and that is also its nature. Thus it is said. Whatever is the suchness of form up to the suchness of nirvana, that is unsurpassed perfect enlightenment. Therefore, by preventing the decrease and increase of practice in the Prajnaparamita, it is said by permission. Thus, because cause and effect, or effect and cause, follow each other's nature, the relationship between cause and effect is truly spoken. Even if it is done like that, the mind is not enlightened by the former, nor by the lineage of the latter. Thus, because the initial and final bodhicitta do not meet each other, there is no accumulation of roots of virtue truly accomplished in three countless eons, so what is the bodhicitta that will awaken to unsurpassed perfect enlightenment?

It was spoken by the Buddhas of the past. Now, how will it arise? It is said in the world, explained through the analogy of a lamp. As it is said, through the analogy of the burning out of the wick of a lamp, it is understood that both the arising of Bodhicitta are with results, therefore it becomes the object of the arising of Bodhicitta, through studying the ten bhumis, it is understood as the unexcelled perfect enlightenment, which is not achieved only by the initial and later Bodhicitta. As it is said, one cannot attain perfect enlightenment without relying on them. How should one understand this reason? The profound Dharma nature's sequence has been declared. This sentence should be connected with the meaning of following this time. How should it be understood as eight types? There are eight types of profoundness. What are the eight? Arising and ceasing, suchness and knowable, knowledge and conduct and non-duality, and skillful means are profound. Thus it is said. Among them, arising is profound, because one cannot attain perfect enlightenment without relying on them, therefore it is the profound dependent origination. Cessation is the cessation of the arising mind, as it is declared. As it is said, Subhuti, what do you think? Will the ceased mind arise again? World-Honored One, it will not. Thus it is declared. Cessation is profound, it is said that the arising of the mind is the nature of cessation, therefore for its nature, cessation is what is ceased. As it is said, Subhuti, what do you think? Is the arisen mind of the nature of cessation? World-Honored One, it is of the nature of cessation. What do you think? Will the one with the nature of cessation cease? World-Honored One, it will not. Thus it is declared. What does this mean? When it arises, it already tends towards cessation, therefore it is already held by cessation, what else needs to be ceased? Suchness is profound, it is said that suchness is as it is, thus abiding, thinking of this as a non-conceptual realm, therefore it transforms into the nature of the reality's edge. Knowable is profound, it is said that there is no other mind from suchness.
