Of the three realms, it is desired as an antidote. These are the verses from the Abhisamayalankara, a treatise on the secret instructions of the Perfection of Wisdom. Chapter Two is complete. Chapter Three Not on this shore or the other shore, nor dwelling between them, it is called the Perfection of Wisdom because it knows that all times are equal. From the gate of focusing on characteristics, it is distant because it is not skillful means, but it is said to be truly near by those skilled in skillful means. The emptiness of the aggregates such as form, and the dharmas realized in the three times, the aspects of enlightenment such as generosity, and the opposing aspects of the idea of practice. There is no self-grasping in generosity and so on, others cause to enter into this, this is to prevent the extreme of attachment, therefore attachment to kings and so on is small. The path of Dharma is profound because of its nature of solitude, knowing that all dharmas are one in nature, one eliminates all attachments. Because of preventing seeing and so on, it is said to be difficult to realize, because of not understanding form and so on, it is said to be inconceivable. Thus, in the manner of omniscience, all the differences of the opposing qualities that are not in common, as explained, should be known here. Form and so on, such as impermanence, its incompleteness and complete perfection, and the combination of preventing practice in the absence of attachment to it, the combination of immutability and non-agency, and the three difficult practices, because one obtains the result as appropriate, and with the desire for a fruitful result, and whatever does not depend on others, it makes known the seven appearances. Without pride in form and so on, the fourfold equality of that, in the truths such as suffering, knowledge of the Dharma, subsequent knowledge, this moment of endurance, the path of seeing in the manner of all-knowing. Form is not permanent, not impermanent, beyond extremes and pure, unborn, unceasing, and so on, like space, abandoning attachment, liberated from grasping, and inexpressible by nature, therefore, by speaking this meaning, it cannot be given to others, and it makes without object, extremely pure, no disease arises, the cutting off of bad destinies and the result, for the sake of manifestation, non-conceptual, unrelated to characteristics and so on, and to things and names and both.
