Like an illusion, the wise, perfect Buddha knows. Dividing tasks for the sake of beings, knowing beings in that way from the beginning. Thus it is said. Also in the Holy Lankavatara Sutra, it is said: Just as images from clean mirrors, neither one nor different, appear but do not exist, so too is the nature of things. Thus it is said. If it is thought to be contemplating the absence of divine forms, then meditating on suchness is also the same, it is similar. For beginners, suchness is realized through faith or firm conceptualization, not directly. Because those with pride in direct perception mistakenly think it is direct perception. The means of empowerment and vows are not considered means and wisdom, wisdom is knowing selflessness, means are glue and so on. If it is thought not to be the cause of omniscience, then offering vast offerings to the noble ones and gurus, giving alms, being peaceful and gentle, doing the work of beings and abandoning harm, striving for virtue, not being distracted by other thoughts, and descending wisdom, etc., are inconceivable, and are the habits of the truly perfect Buddha. That is also generating the mind of enlightenment, and like the ritual of individual liberation vows, it relies on that basis. Therefore, the vehicle of secret mantra is called the Vajra Vehicle, which is indivisible. It is taking the result as the path, and it is accomplished in one lifetime, etc., so it is a near path. That itself is also, in the samadhi of all appearances, one should meditate after that. And so on. All is without omission, appearance is the mind of compassion. After is from behind, without interruption. Because there is also focus on sentient beings, so generating great compassion for sentient beings who have not realized is: Meditate on being as pervasive as the sky. Thus it is said. That which is called "that" is the immediately past. Not realized is not knowing, meaning not understanding emptiness. That is also meditating on all sentient beings, not on one or a few, therefore it is great. Therefore it is the same as the sky. After that is the samadhi of the cause, the letter A (Tibetan: ཨ, Devanagari: अ, Romanized Sanskrit: a, Literal Chinese meaning: A), white as crystal, visualize it appearing clearly in the center of the sky. From that, radiate light and offer it to the noble ones.

Having accomplished the benefit and happiness of sentient beings, it dissolves into A and transforms into light. The syllable Hūṃ, endowed with light, is visualized clearly in the center of the sky. This is connected to the subsequent contemplation. The cause is the proximate cause, meaning it arises from that. The clear and radiant white A is the cause. Samadhi is the state of one-pointedness of mind in that aspect. The sky is emptiness, and in that nature, the unborn letter A. That itself is endowed with clear light and spreads throughout the world. After spreading, it performs the benefit and happiness of sentient beings and makes offerings to the noble ones, that is, benefiting sentient beings with material things, Dharma, love, and protection, and offering offerings to all the noble ones. Then, the light merges into the letter A itself, which is absorption. The so-called transformation is the absence of the substance of A. If one asks what substance it becomes, the answer is the syllable Hūṃ endowed with light. Light and so on are as before. This is what is taught: from the nature of emptiness, each one's mind appears as a white A, and from that, light radiates, benefiting sentient beings and noble ones, and making offerings, gathering and becoming Hūṃ. Its meaning is this: the Dharmakaya, from the unborn nature, with great compassion performs the benefit and happiness of sentient beings, possessing the Rupakaya, therefore, contemplate suchness. Have compassion for the unenlightened and arise to appear for their benefit, and A and so on are also the same. This is transformed into the ultimate Bodhicitta, non-dual and inseparable. Now, I will explain how the Rupakaya performs the benefit and happiness of sentient beings and appears to those to be tamed. Among them, first, I will explain the support: From that arises the sound of E, below appears the letter E, from that arises a white triangle, visualize it standing upright immeasurably. The so-called that is the syllable Hūṃ, like being separated from what is called E, formed below, its shape is triangular. The white palace, because of its height and breadth, is called standing upright immeasurably. Contemplate the seat in the palace: From that arises the sound of Paṃ, in its center appears the syllable Paṃ, the lotus petals are green, the four petals are endowed with the sun and moon. Thus it is said. The so-called from that is after the palace is built. Sound and so on are as before. Center
