May the clouds of offerings before the brave ones truly abide as imagined. The offering of bathing is: Om Ah Sarva Tathagata Abhishekata Samaya Shriye Hum Svaha. (Tibetan: ཨོཾ་ཨཱཿསརྦ་ཏ་ཐཱ་ག་ཏ་ཨ་བྷི་ཥེ་ཀ་ཏ་ས་མ་ཡ་ཤྲི་ཡེ་ཧཱུཾ་སྭཱ་ཧཱ།, Sanskrit Devanagari: ओम् आः सर्व तथागत अभिषे कत समय श्रीये हुं स्वाहा, Sanskrit Romanization: oṃ āḥ sarva tathāgata abhiṣekata samaya śrīye hūṃ svāhā, Literal Chinese meaning: Om Ah All Thus-gone-one Empowerment Period Auspicious Hum Svaha.) Having bathed with this, perform offerings and so on as before. I, so-and-so, offer myself to the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas belonging to the realm of Dharma, together with their retinues. In all forms and at all times, please, you who possess great compassion, bless me, completely protect me, and bestow upon me accomplishments and excellence. Thus offering oneself. Then: I prostrate to the principal Buddha! I prostrate to the Dharma that protects! I prostrate to the great Sangha! I also always prostrate to the three! I take refuge in the Three Jewels! I confess all sins separately! I rejoice in the virtues of beings! I grasp Buddhahood with my mind! In the Buddha, Dharma, and supreme assembly, until enlightenment I take refuge! In order to accomplish the benefit of self and others, I generate this mind of enlightenment! I will generate the supreme mind of enlightenment, and I will invite all sentient beings. I will practice the pleasing conduct of supreme enlightenment, may I attain Buddhahood for the benefit of beings! Recite the verses of going for refuge to the Three Jewels. Then, offer praise: Without beginning, middle, or end, the peaceful Buddha, the nature itself, in order to realize all the Buddha's teachings, shows the fearless, constant path, holding the sword of wisdom and compassion, cutting the sprouts of suffering, with various skillful means, destroying the walls of doubt, I bow down to that one! And so on. Then, in order to bring about the true praise of the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas, this queen of knowledge should be recited eight times: Nama Sarva Buddha Bodhisattvanam Sarvatra Sikusumita Abhijna Rasini Namo Stute Svaha. May it be so! May I have sharp wisdom and be born into a good lineage, may I have a beautiful appearance, and may I be skilled in the extensive poetry of the Sugatas. May I be long-lived and be born at will, may I be an intelligent and clever man, may my senses be intact, may I be happy and compassionate, may I be extremely devout and skilled in poetry, may I know the kindness of my parents and be respectful, may I always remember my past lives and be disciplined, may I be the embodiment of Dharma, may I have wealth, may I always be happy to give, may I have virtuous friends, may I be joyful and powerful, may I be pleasing and pleasing to many, may I be free from all diseases, may I have love for sentient beings, may I retain what I hear and have pure thoughts, may I have chastity. For the sake of benefiting the world, until I attain the state of enlightenment of the Bhagavan, may I always be adorned with all these qualities. After making this aspiration, one should recite the essence of all the Tathagatas, which has great benefits, the hundred-syllable mantra king blessed by all the Buddhas. Then, in all directions, bodies and minds, as many suffering patients as there are, may they, through my merit, attain the ocean of happiness and joy. May the gods send down rain in due season, may the crops be abundant. May the king act according to the Dharma, may the world prosper. May they not experience the suffering of the lower realms, nor experience hardship, with a body superior to the gods, may they quickly attain Buddhahood. After reciting these and so on, just as the Tathagatas, Arhats, perfectly enlightened Buddhas, with the wisdom of the Buddhas and the eye of the Buddhas, know and see the roots of virtue, and what kind of lineage that is, what kind of class, what kind, what nature
