The sphere of nothingness and the sphere of neither perception nor non-perception. Those heavenly realms will be attained because the lama is the essence of the Dharma. The lama is bliss, the lama has been spoken of, bliss is similar, and that is both worldly and transcendental. Among them, the bliss of kingship and the bliss of gods are worldly. The bliss of liberation is transcendental. Those bliss will be truly attained because the lama is the essence of the Sangha. Because he is the one who generates the desired fruit, therefore the lama is the very essence of the Three Jewels. Therefore, whatever is desired, the disciple will obtain from that. It is also said in the Manifest Vajra: The lama is the Buddha, the lama is the Dharma, the lama is the Sangha, the lama is the father, the lama is the chief benefactor, the lama is the supreme wish-fulfilling jewel. Thus. Because, the reason called "therefore", from the lama who has been spoken of, the fruit of accomplishment and so on is obtained, therefore with all effort, at all times and places, the meaning is to seek true merit. The lama, that is, the words of the Acharya, should not be transgressed or exceeded. By "the lama's" etc., keep the precepts. The lama's aforementioned substance is wealth, and that is both inner wealth and outer wealth. Among them, gold and silver etc. are inner wealth. Fields and houses etc. are outer wealth. Life is the life force, and the sound of "as it is" is similarity itself. Life as it is, is similar to the life force. His beloved is also like the lama. The phrase "His beloved is also like the lama" means like the lama. The word "also" is for inclusion. That lama's beloved is the joyful consort, that is his beloved. His world is also like relatives. The phrase "His world is also like relatives" means that lama's world is the neighborhood. The word "also" is for inclusion, or for the completeness of the sentence. Samadhi, that is, without distraction, constantly, that is, continuously observe and examine. This is how it is taught, how the disciple with samadhi

Just as one protects one's own life, so should one protect the guru's possessions. Just as one respects the guru, so should one respect the guru's consort, and just as one pleases one's own relatives, so should one always please the guru's retinue. The term "mat" and so on, speaks of the discipline of the body. A mat is a cushion, sitting on it is being on top, sitting on a mat is sitting on a mat. Before, that is, going forward is going before. A crest is a headdress. A banner is in the form of a robe, or tying a banner of auspiciousness, sitting on a mat. Not doing is not practicing, connecting with what comes before and after. Feet on the mat are like feet on the seat. Hands on the waist means the waist, that is, the hips, hands on the hips are hands on the waist. Or placing the arms and hands on the ribs is called hands on the waist. Or placing the hands on the waist below the back, the meaning is that is hands on the waist. "And" is the collector of all. Leaning is on a pillow, meaning in front of the guru. Again, that which is called sleep and so on is spoken of, falling asleep is on the road. Or the sound of "or" refers to another aspect. Not sitting is not to stay, not is a negation. To abide is to sit. The guru is the teacher, standing is stretching upwards and standing straight. The wise one is certain. Always is all the time, his actions, that is, being happy with the guru's actions, and rising according to ability, becoming perfect. The disciple is the remainder. The term "saliva" and so on, is spoken of in conjunction with the discipline of speech. Saliva and so on are phlegm and so on, and the sound of "and so on" also includes snot, teeth, and tongue Dirt. To discard is to expel outwards. Stretching the legs on the mat, that is, the seat, is to separate the legs. Walking a little, the sound of "a little" is walking and coming. Speaking in dispute is the noise of discordant words. The word "and" is the meaning of collecting all. The teacher's presence is in front, that is, manifest. "Not doing" is not practicing. The term "meeting each other" and so on, speaks of the discipline of body and speech. Each other is each other.
