Complete destruction is great renunciation. Being well-versed in discipline is great asceticism. Serving the lama without weariness is great joy. When seeking virtue, abiding as if one's head or clothes were on fire is great diligence. Making the excellent Dharma manifest is great wisdom. It is said: The wise hero practices asceticism, after great joy possesses diligence, excellence and the doer, are manifestly called great. Thus it is said. He is both the lama and the great one, therefore he is the great lama. What is the nature of that great lama? It is said, "Obscured," etc. Obscured means covered by the form of a person. Supreme is the supreme of all. Virtue means auspiciousness, goodness, and peace, which are the same in meaning. That is obscuration, but also supreme, and also virtue, therefore it is obscured and supreme, that is, virtue. Do not despise, that is, do not belittle, making it into another's word is scripture. Never means sometimes, meaning at any time. Some recite, "Never despise." Subduing, the memory of understanding is not lost, so it is thought that even words of oblique reproach should never be spoken. In order to remedy the fault of reproaching the Acharya, it is said, "In accordance," etc. In accordance means in accordance with wealth, meaning how reasonable. From the word "and," or all wealth. The suffix of the word "that" means "from that." From what? It is said, "The lama's food," making food for the lama Acharya, that is, tsampa is the lama's food, meaning offering a feast. Connect after hearing from the lamas. What distinguishes it in particular? Offering is offering wealth, grain, cattle, buffalo, etc. When offering, whatever is available is offered, that is, with offering, that is, related to offering. Offering is giving. What arises from offering feasts, etc.? It is said, "From that, plagues, etc.," from that is feasts, etc.

That comes from offering oblations. Suffering from plagues, etc., is on top of the harm of plagues, etc., those that cause suffering, the first of which is plague, that is plague, etc. Those that cause suffering are the previously mentioned close living, etc. The word "is" means definitely. From outside, starting from outside. Appearance is birth, the word "not" is negation. It is said like this, because if you slander the lama, you will turn into various sufferings in this life and the next, therefore, in order to approach happiness, you should offer the lama a feast with wealth. By doing that, the lama will be happy, and the lama being happy means all the Tathagatas are happy. After being happy, all wishes will be fulfilled and completely pacified, and the desired achievements will also appear. In the Tantra of Combination, it also says: Because all the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas who dwell in the ten directions, all that merit appears in one pore of the lama. Therefore, by offering to the lama, the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas will be happy. Not only that, but they will also bestow the Vajra of Vows and the desired achievements. That's what it says. Again, in order to separately show the actions of the disciple, it says "one's own," etc. In one's own vow behavior. The vow has already been said. Or, the so-called vow is to protect the mind of enlightenment, etc., because this can correctly go to and obtain enlightenment. This vow and precepts are accomplished, you should always protect them. All Buddhas unanimously declare, this is the eternal decree. Whatever the Vajra mudra is, merely arising, one will undoubtedly become a Buddha. The mind of enlightenment should not be abandoned, the sacred Dharma should not be slandered, and should never be abandoned. Not understanding or being ignorant, one should not slander it either. Completely abandoning one's own body, one should not torment oneself with asceticism. One should comfortably accept bliss, this is the perfect Buddha who has not yet come. Vajra, bell, mudras, etc., should never be abandoned. Thus extensively said. The so-called behavior is universal behavior, therefore it is universal.

This behavior is to follow the Guru. Vows and conduct are vow conduct, which is one's own vows and conduct. Or, vows that are in accordance with oneself, whose conduct is diligent, so it is one's own vow conduct. The so-called "with life" means ability, or with lives. The word "also" means to include everything. Whose life? It is oneself, that is, oneself. Serving is approaching. Is it only serving with one's own life? No, as it is said in the scriptures: "Not giving up" and so on. Not giving up means not being able to bear to give up. Sons and wives are sons and consorts. The word "etc." includes relatives and attendants. Why mention wealth? That is to say, there is no need to mention all those things. How is it? The so-called "shaking", shaking means impermanence. These explain this point: if one cannot measure one's vows except by giving up children, etc., then one should give up all of them without hesitation and serve. It is also said: Parents themselves and children, relatives and friends, Clothes, food, wealth, grain, houses, etc., One's own limbs are like leaves on a tree by the water, moved by the wind, Observing these, wise people practice the sacred Dharma. That's what it says. The reason for particularly respecting the Guru was stated. The so-called "because of what" and so on. The so-called "because of what" means what reason. It is difficult to obtain because it is obtained through suffering, so it is difficult to obtain, that is, it is difficult to obtain. The world is sentient beings. How long will it take? As it is said in the scriptures, "billions of kalpas" and so on. Multiplying by ten from top to top, the eighth place is a billion, and starting to count these is countless, which cannot be counted. Countless is also it, and a billion is also it, so it is countless billions. Countless billions of kalpas, that is, countless kalpas, that is, with those countless billions of kalpas. A hundred kalpas, here it should be understood as an intermediate kalpa. Why? Because in the teachings of the Paramitas, it is said that one will attain Buddhahood after three great asamkhya kalpas, while the intermediate kalpa
