In the Sangwa Dunpa, it says: Though ascetic discipline is unbearable, it will not be accomplished by relying on it. If one relies on all desirable enjoyments, then one will quickly achieve it. Eating by begging and not reciting mantras, one should not rejoice in begging. Enjoying all desires, without forgetting to recite the limbs of mantras, if body, speech, and mind remain in bliss, then one will attain enlightenment. Otherwise, one will die untimely and will surely be burned in hell. Thus it is said. Therefore, like a great jewel, naturally clear with light, whatever has the characteristic of happiness and mental happiness from the distinction of manifest accumulations such as form, there, by the power of the distinction of habituation completely grasped by skillful means and wisdom, one will attain the very ultimate nature. Furthermore, just as with wisdom, crafts, and arts, etc., from experiencing objects such as form, the distinction of accumulation that truly arises, by the power of the yogi's consciousness constantly meditating and habituating, one will attain the most ultimate and permanent nature, because one has reached the ultimate end of meditation, like those who have departed in bliss from their own tenets. Even in the world, like desire, sorrow, fear, madness, etc., like happiness and mental happiness arising from touch, etc., are also due to habituation. Therefore, those too possess the most excellent distinction and are objects of contradictory nature. Here, what is incompatible with suffering, etc., and the nature of happiness and mental happiness, etc., is the result. And when the power of habituation is manifestly attained, when it becomes the object, then suffering and mental unhappiness, etc., that are incompatible with it will cease, and one's own collections of qualities will also be gathered. Therefore, dwelling there through habituation will prevent the separation of opportunities for suffering, etc., that are incompatible with it. For example, when warmth, etc., which is incompatible with cold, etc., is encountered, it will generate the absence of cold, etc. Whoever...

It is not possible to perceive two mutually contradictory things on one basis. Similarly, these two, happiness and suffering, cannot possibly exist in the nature of one continuum, because they are contradictory to each other. Therefore, the very act of becoming accustomed to happiness and joy, etc., will not find a place where suffering, etc., could ever arise, which is a rational statement. Understanding that the object of contradictory nature also makes one understand that its essence does not exist, therefore, the very cause of going to the extreme end is the difference in habituation, like wisdom, crafts, and arts, etc. It must be understood that the contradictory object is perceived from that difference. Likewise, if one wishes to revert even after gaining a special quality from meditating, then one would not wish that those who enter the extreme end of meditation, such as cessation, etc., would revert in the same way. Because those who enter the extreme end and have attained the very nature of themselves do not revert, like cessation, etc. Those who have attained the very nature of themselves do not revert from the special happiness and joy, etc., on which they depend, because there is no cause for reversion. This is not the case for those who are capable of reverting from faults. Suffering will also not occur after that, because it is impossible for those who have reached the extreme end. Otherwise, it is neither desirable nor rational to say that one will return to samsara even after liberation, because no one desires that those who have attained liberation will be reborn in samsara. That is because at that time, one has completely turned away from the imprints of ignorance and because there is no cause. To be born truly for the sake of others is not samsara, because one enters there by the very force of the power of previous aspirations, etc., and not by the power of imprints. Therefore, just as one does not return to samsara after liberation, so too after the extreme end of happiness
