English

There is no fault in protecting one's own possessions. That is, for the sake of the enjoyment of sentient beings, one should give away one's body and so on. If one does not protect, from where will enjoyment come? If one does not enjoy, what will one give? Therefore, for the sake of the enjoyment of sentient beings, one should protect one's body and so on. This is what is said. Similarly, protection should also be purified for the sake of the owner himself, because with the completely pure nature of morality and so on, the possessions will completely fulfill the purpose of all sentient beings who are the owners, so it is reasonable to purify them. Purification should also be increased for the sake of the owner himself. Even a servant, having been born as a wheel-turning king and so on, it is reasonable that the owner, the sentient beings, will accomplish the benefit of this life and the next. Similarly, one should also know the abandonment, protection, purification, and increase of the roots of virtue belonging to the three times. This meaning has been clearly explained in the Compendium of Trainings, so it is not extensively elaborated here. Entering is also related to this skillful means. Whatever compassion is focused on sentient beings, when entering, it abides in the nature of reality. That is because it attains the state of being without focus, it goes into being profound and vast. When a Bodhisattva perfects the four Brahmaviharas and focuses on the realm of sentient beings afflicted by the three sufferings, great compassion with power will arise, focusing on all sentient beings. When that great compassion focuses on sentient beings and enters into generosity and so on, as long as it does not abide in the Perfection of Wisdom, generosity and so on will not be perfected. At that time, through the way of completely purifying great generosity and so on, it will also be completely purified through non-objective union, so that is when compassion arises focusing on its dharma. Thus, having accustomed oneself to compassion focused on dharma for three countless eons, when it is perfected, great compassion without focus will arise, this is its profundity and vastness, it is the difference between profundity and vastness. Limitless and blazing aspirations, etc.

In that very place, having obtained the sole Dharmadhatu nature, how could one ever regress again? With the thought of liberating limitless realms of sentient beings, and having entered with limitless aspirations and blazing diligence, it is like a youth who has accomplished all purposes entering to dry up the ocean. They engage in following all that is profound and vast, and they themselves are blessed by the Perfection of Wisdom, with limitless blazing diligence, and aspirations and entry, etc., they realize the very nature of the non-conceptual Dharmadhatu. Having obtained limitless perfections and possessing limitless strength, by the power of the non-inverted cause, it is not appropriate to regress, therefore it is the distinction of the non-conceptual cause. Joyful, inexhaustible appearance, various non-conceptual nature, pervaded by the taste of great compassion, the fruit of the Dharmadhatu nature. That which is the appearance of the very nature of supreme joy, the inexhaustible nature of various kinds, the very nature of the non-conceptual Dharmadhatu, is the fruit of all aspirations and so forth. By the power of the force of great compassion, it spontaneously arises and continuously engages without ceasing, it is the nature of accomplishing all the deeds of others, pervaded by the measure of limitless Bodhi, like an inexhaustible gold mine. This place is the nature of all omniscient ones, it is the nature of the non-conceptual Dharmadhatu that benefits all, it is unreasonable for it to arise from the weak cause as described, abiding in the pure field of non-inverted means, for the sake of the needs of others, the action that corresponds to the seed of aspiration, is the non-regressing Dharma, the place that benefits beings, transforming into the state of the Sugata, is reasonable, because the result is in accordance with the cause. Therefore, if the cause of obtaining the unsurpassed state, aspirations and so forth, is shown as the Great Vehicle, why would the extensive treatises of the Great Vehicle become meaningless? Whatever, action without perception, Samadhi without seed. Such as etc.
